DYLAN'S POV

It's been a few days since Brandi told me about Sam. I'm not going to lie, I wanted to track him down and teach him not to touch Brandi again but I knew that wouldn't solve anything. I dont know what to think really, I'm just confused. We havent talked much for the past few days, it's not that I don't want to but I dont know what to say.

I've been hanging out with that guy Taylor and some of his friends from the party last weekend. They're pretty cool and I've made going to their parties a routine thing. Brandi and I still go in the same car, we just let each other go off most of the time and meet up at the car around one in the morning.

I walk downstairs and Brandi is sitting at the kitchen counter with her head draped over a bowl of cereal. She's wearing her gym shorts and a tank top with her hair pulled up into a ponytail, I think she's asleep. I grab a bowl for my cereal and shut the cupboard a little loud. Brandi's head shoots up and looks around until she finds me.

"Sorry." I say pouring my cereal.

"It's fine." She stands up and takes her bowl to the sink. She starts sneezing and I look up, I didn't notice her puffy eyes and red nose until she turned to leave the room.

"Are you okay?" I ask, slurping my cereal.

"I'll be fine." She says with a little attitude in her voice and walks out of the kitchen.

I decide to follow her, "C'mon what's wrong?"

"Oh, now you care?" She laughs to herself.

"Of course I care, I always will." I argue.

"You've barely said two words to me since I told you about Sam." She spills.

"I wanted to.." I fumble with my hands.

"Then why didn't you?" She stares across the room.

"I didn't know what to say, I'm sorry." I move closer to her.

She sneezes and I grab the box of tissues from the table and hand it to her. None of says anything so I turn on the tv, she reaches for a blanket and throws it over herself and lays down. Her head is in my lap and I'm playing with her hair. After an hour of more sneezing and coughing I convince her to take some medicine. We go up to her room and the medicine immediately knocks her out, I've missed sleeping with her. I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her in and pick at the loose strands falling over her face, until I finally drift off too.

BRANDI'S POV

I wake up around 3 and Dylan is still knocked out, I have to go to the bathroom so I try and untangle myself from him without waking him up. I manage successfully pull myself out but I trip over my Penny Board and hit the floor. Dylan's head pops up and he is out of bed as soon as he sees me struggling to get up. He comes around and holds out a hand for me to take. I grab his hand and stand on my own before I let him go.

"Damn it, sorry I tried to be quiet." I said, sitting on the bed.

He sits next to me and wraps his long skinny arm around me, "it's okay. Are you up to doing anything for the remainder of the day?"

I look up into his beautiful brown eyes and I realize there's no place in the world I'd rather be. "As long as I'm with you, I'm good." I lean up and give him a peck on the lips.

When I start to pull away, he pulls me in closer and kisses me with all his might and I'm okay with it. I have longed for the feeling of his lips crashing into mine since the last time we made out.

"I love you." He smiles into my lips.

"I love you." I smile, running my fingers up and down his side.

...

DYLAN'S POV

While Brandi and I were making out, an idea popped into my head. Brandi is always retweeting that sappy love shit where the guy buys his girlfriend an outfit with a note that says be ready by eight and leaves it on her doorstep. I think it's too cliché for me, but if that's what Brandi wants, I will do anything to make her happy. Brandi's in the shower right now, so I just pop my head in the door and tell her I'll be back soon. I throw on my shoes, grab my keys, and take off to the mall.
