DYLAN'S POV

Brandi is hysterically laughing at her reflection in the silver spoon that was once bundled in the cloth napkin. I don't know why it's so funny but neither of us can stop giggling. I ordered a bottle of wine, but only had half a glass. Brandi on the other hand downed the rest of the bottle, which would explain the non stop giggling.

The waiter brings our check over to the table and I slip my card in before handing it right back. He disappears to the back of the restaurant and I walk over to help Brandi keep her balance. The waiter returns my card to me before disappearing again.

I'm walking out to the car with Brandi slung over one shoulder supporting her weight, digging into my pocket for the keys. My finger finally catches on the silver key ring and I tug it out of my pocket. I unlock the door and hand her the keys while I open the door.

"Ooh what does this one do?" She says before clicking every button on the key. The alarm starts going off and the trunk popped open, along with the hood. Oh boy, this is going to be a long car ride.

"Brandi?" A voice comes from behind me.

"Whaaaaaaat?" She says half asleep, I guess her high is over now she's tired.

I swing around to see who the voice belonged to? You've got to be kidding me right now. It's Sam.

"Are you alright?" He completely ignores my existence and walks closer to the car.

"She's fine, I got this." I start getting defensive, cutting between them.

"I don't think I asked you." I'm caught off guard and he pushes me into the car.

"Are you kidding me? She's my girlfriend! I don't give a shit who you asked." I push back.

"Oh big guy, are you? That's why she had her tongue down my throat the other night, right?" He smirks and turns around to walk away.

I grab his shoulder to turn him around and swing full force at his jaw, "you better watch what you're saying, prick."

He stumbles back and reaches a hand up to his busted lip. He laughs a little to himself and I'm about to go in for more, but Brandi brings my attention back to her.

She's leaning over the side of the car throwing up. I run to her side and hold her hair back, when she's finally done I set her back in the car and put her seatbelt on.

I close the door and turn back to Sam, "I'm letting you off easy dude, you're lucky we're leaving in the morning. I'd bash your head in right now."

I go to the driver side of the car and open the door to get in. I'm so pissed, I put the car in reverse and speed out of the parking lot. Brandi wakes up again before we get out, to ask for some gum. I'm halfway in the street but I don't see any cars, so I reach over to the dashboard and search for the pack of Orbit gum.

I find the pack and open it to give her the piece, but when I look up I'm blinded by two headlights coming straight at us.

I drop the pack of gum and try to get out of the way fast enough. It's too late, I feel the car jerk and hear the car crunch.

I black out.
