chapter 12

Blake's pov

"So that's Katelyn hein (huh) " Florian said smirking after the ladies left my apartment

"Yes that is she and don't get any ideas Florian she is just my employee" I said sitting down on the chair Miss Hill occupied moments ago

"Am I the only one or did you all see the resemblance between Katelyn and Fiona" Chris said with a small frown

"Yes I saw the resemblance, it was quite alarming" drew responds

"But there is such a thing as coincidence right, so let's not jump to conclusions" I said rubbing my forehead

"By the way where is Rachel Flo" drew asked suddenly changing the topic

" Last I checked she was at work had some things for finish off before coming over" he replied smiling, you can see that this man was head over heels for his wife and he didn't care who knew

"Well I don't know about you guys but am starving" Chris says walking towards my kitchen

"No no, CHRIS sit your ass down you are not stepping a foot into my kitchen after the last incident" I quickly got up to stop him

"But no one got hurt though" he says scratching his neck

"Still doesn't matter, you almost burnt down my apartment I am not taking chances" I said walking away but turned to say "I'll make the foot just please stay out of my kitchen"

He grumbled walking back towards the couch where Flo and Drew were busy laughing their heads off because they knew the particular incident I was referring too.

Annoyed Chris throws both of them the pillows nearest to him, chuckling at their behavior I walk into the kitchen to prepare brunch, I decided to make my specialty sweet chili chicken and mushroom pizza which is a favorite amongst my family and close friends.

After assembling everything i placed the 2 large pizzas in the oven, while waiting for it to cook I walk back into the living room and the NBA was playing although it was a repeat from last night I didn't mind because my team the New York Knicks won.

We analyzed the game once again to see what should have been done to better the scores although we won, it was just how we had fun, I remember my late mom and sister never understood our love for the NBA once the game was on they left the room because of our shouting and arguing.

About 45 minutes later the pizzas were ready, grabbing both pizzas and bottles of beers I walked back to the living room

"mon ami c'est juste ce dont nous avions besoin (my friend this is just what we needed)" Florian says taking a bit out of his pizza slice

"I could have done it better" Chris says grumbling

"Please Chris the only thing you are good at is eating and making Adela blush" drew said causing Flo and I to laugh

"You can laugh all you want but I know that Adela is warming up to me" he said smirking at Flo who was stuffing his face with his second slice of pizza

"It's been almost 6 years mon frère, don't you think you should ask the question" Flo asked with a raised eyebrow

"I know what am doing, when the time is right I'll ask her"

"If I didn't know better I would say you being a poulet ( chicken)" Flo says smirking at chris who looked annoyed for being called chicken

"Leave him alone florian am sure he knows what he is doing and don't forget you warned him not to break Katelyn's heart so let him do whatever he feels is best" I quickly jumped in to save Chris from being teased any further, he gives me a thankful look before taking a swing from his beer

We almost finished both pizzas, but we're all stuffed so Drew and I cleared the table while Chris and Flo were having a stupid burping contest
"Those two act like kids" Drew says as we walk into the kitchen making me laugh because he is right Florian is older than chris but he acts like a child.

"I'll be in my office if anyone needs me I have a business call to take" I told Drew after everything we used to eat and the leftovers were put in place he nodded before I left the kitchen

The business call took 3hours because that annoying man kept changing the deal, then I had paper work to go through which took 2 more hours by the time I completed all my work I was exhausted so I decided to have dinner, waking into the kitchen to get a bottle of vitamin water before hanging out with the guys.

"Where is Florian" I asked when I noticed he wasn't seated with Drew and Chris

"Rachel called him for something urgent" Chris says while scrolling through his phone

"Am ordering Chinese, I'm not in the mood to cook" i say sitting down next to Drew"you want your usuals right" both nod their heads in agreement

"Order extra chicken nuggets please" Chris says

"I swear if not for the work out you do you would be fat by now because you eat too much" drew murmurs beside me

"Shut up Drew this body is glorious and will never get fat" Chris said frowning causing me to laugh.

They always tease Chris about his eating habit, but they have a point Chris' appetite is huge but his physical appearance isn't affected which he is lucky for, because not everyone who eats like he does can maintain such physic.

20 mintues zfyer ordering our food on the app it was delivered but not before tipping the delivery guy generously. While we ate Chris suggested we watch The Witcher which Drew and I agreed too because we didn't have any live sports to watch as entertainment.

After dinner we watched more episodes of The Witcher for about an hour and a half before I asked them to get Fiona from Katelyn's apartment, knowing Fiona once it was passed 8:30pm couldn't stay awake anymore.

Minutes later they came back with a sleeping Fiona, I took her in my hands after bidding both of them goodbye then headed towards Fiona's bedroom to put her down, ready to get some sleep too.
