Blake's pov

"Am leaving for lunch Mr Alfredo" Miss Hill calls out
"You may leave Miss Hill I have no requests" I say as she nods and leaves I hope she does her job properly I simply can't entertain any bulls*** from anyone I have to much in my plate as it is the handover from my dad was so fast and unexpected that I still need time to adjust so I expect people to do what is required of them.

I was busy going through some urgent files when Drew walks in.
"You know that it's lunch right yet you are busy working" he says as he sits down in front of me placing our lunch on my desk

"I don't have time to eat I have do much work I need to complete, my work load is literally triple of what it was last week" I sigh closing my laptop to stretch

"Yes I understand you have a lot to complete but Blake you can't keep doing this even before you became CEO you were a workaholic now it just worse think of your health and if not your health think of Fiona she deserves to have a father"

"Am trying Drew but this thing with dad is so sudden I don't know what to do" at the beginning of the week my dad had a heart attack and he has been in the comma ever since after my mom past away from a plane crash my dad hasn't been the same and it's terrifying seeing him in the state I can't afford to lose another parent

"I know you are I can see that, but you need to eat you are my friend I have to look out for you also let's not forget who the doctor is here" he smirks

"Yea yea Drew I get it I need to take care of my health because I have only one life" I know the mantra

"Dig in then I got your favorite turkey and basil pesto sandwich with decaf black coffee" he says smiling at my statement

"Thanks" I say over the rim of my coffee

"What will u do without me" he smirks which earns an eye roll from me

"So how is your new 'PAsecretary' doing"

"Ahhh Miss Hill, not sure yet Drew she doesn't even know how to you the Apple gadgets" I said shaking my head

"Huh, no way bro what did you do" he asks with a teasing smile

"I asked katelyn to come help her out earlier on "

"Ohh that explains why I bumped into her on my way to you this morning"

"You have got your work cut out for you Mauricio" he says before biting into his sandwich to hid that smile that he always used when he calls me by my middle name

"Shut up and eat Drew" I said annoyed as I took another bit into my sandwich while he was busy laughing I hopes I chokes on his food

"I won't choke in my food Blake stop wishing" he smirks because he knows exactly what I was thinking about, this is how things have been between us for the past 15 years so we are used to eat others teasing.

While we ate he told me about how things are going in both clinics that he runs, one is located on the 20th floor of this building for all employees in Alfredo Corporation and the other clinic is over on 25th avenue in Queens.
Although his family owns a share in my family's company, he decided to head into the medical field which his parents of course were not so happy about but they supported him because he is their only child also they know he is happy.

Drew is a real kind soul ever since I met him, that's one of the reasons why he is one of my right hand men along with my younger brother and my brother-in-law who is Katelyn's older brother.

He is forever willing to help people no matter what the problem so I wasn't supprised when he chose to be a doctor I was as a matter of fact very happy for him and also the fact that I have a doctor I trust which is a win win situation for both of us if I must say.
