another morning once again came. the couple woke up by each other's side, takin their turns in the shower, dressing up for school, atsushi cooking breakfast for two and finally getting out of the silent apartment.

walking through the familliar sidewalk, atsushi looked around the place. he was kind of feeling unfamilliar, like everything changed when he stopped doing errands for toshi and his two friends. he noticed that not a single person was staring at him with a judgemental look. it feels like everything got lighter. it got lighter when akutagawa came into his shitty hole of life.

"say.." speak of the devil, the black haired male we are currently talking about spoke up, accidentally brushing his shoulder against the other that made nakajima's heart skip a beat. he snapped out of his thoughts, turning to ryuu with a warm smile. "hm?"

"i noticed that you're not wearing a jacket under your coat anymore." the taller male mentioned, reaching for the other's wrist and brushing his thumb under his sleeve. he saw that the cuts were fading, which made him feel at ease. atsushi smiled as he nod his head, "you're right. i guess i'm feeling a bit confident." his answer made akutagawa look at his face from his scars.

"really... that's great to hear." with a sweet smile, he pulled his hand away from his lover's wrist, now putting it atop his soft head and starting to ruffle it. "you're so beautiful, jinko."

"ah, honestly. give me a damn break," tanizaki groaned along with the other students standing infront of the unfortunately closed school gates. it was a mess, seeing most of the students in their school gather up in one place. kenji gave a huge frown, "i didn't wake up so early in the morning to get greeted by cancelled classes." he complained.

yeah, you heard it right. cancelled classes.

"everybody, calm down. i am here to inform you that the teachers suddenly had to take care of something. they just happened to hear the announcement this morning so they didn't have to time to tell it to you. i hope you guys understand and have a safe trip back to your homes." the guard of the school voiced out, receiving frustrated groans once again.

it's not like they're disappointed that the classes got cancelled, infact they're very happy. but the thing is, they believe that going back home is a pain in the ass. naomi clicked her tongue, crossing her arms infront of her chest as the students slowly decreased. "the ones who's still at home are lucky." she said.

"wait! we should call akutagawa and atsushi so-" but unfortunately before kenji could even fish out his phone from his pocket, the mentioned names were already approaching them. "oh? what are you guys doing here? and why are the gates closed?" atsushi asked in total confusion, stopping beside the blond boy.

miyazawa sighed, "too late."

junichirou smiled, "the classes got cancelled since the teachers had something to do." he explained, making atsushi's lips part due to surprise while akutagawa still remained expressionless. "so, what's the plan now?" the black haired boy asked, yawning after he said that. naomi rolled his eyes, "we're going home, of course."

the ginger smirked, an idea popping up. "say, why don't we hang out at akutagawa's place? since chuuya-san is still on a business trip, we could play video games and even drink alcohol." with much confidence, he spoke.

naomi groaned at what she heard, "seriously, jun-nii. i thought you quitted from bad habits," she frowned, folding her arms. atsushi was trying to process the situation, blinking repeatedly, thinking if he heard that right. "wait, you guys drink alcohol?"

junichirou chuckled, "sometimes. and without our parents knowing," the devil himself smirked, proud because he thinks he gives off the bad boy vibes. "you too, akutagawa?" the pale male turned, pointing a finger at his boyfriend who was awkwardly avoiding the topic and eye contact. "oh hell yeah he does, though he gets drunk easily." the blond boy replied with a small laugh.

"so it's settled then, we're going to hang out at akutagawa's place after lunch!"

"huh? wait, why are you the one making the decision? the owner didn't even agree with you." ryuu growled, putting on a huge frown. atsushi, kenji and naomi only laughed at their ridiculousness.

"yohoo~ i heard you guys are going to hang out at ryuu-kun's place? mind if i join?" out of nowhere, lucy appeared from behind the tanizaki siblings that surprised the others. she was wearing her usual bright smile that pisses off akutagawa so much and on top of that, she even called her by his first name.

"lucy! you scared me!" naomi blurted out of surprise, slightly jumping back. the red haired girl ignored her and continued her way towards the pale male. akutagawa squinted his eyes, slowly getting more and more annoyed. pair of arms draped around nakajima's shoulders, getting hugged by the blunt redhead. "good morning, sushi-kun! how was your sleep?" lucy asked with her cheerful voice.

this made akutagawa's hands twitch as his eyes grew wide because of anger. she was clearly flirting with his property infront of him, does she have a death wish or something?
