Julia had watched Lando standing on the podium and showering himself and the team in champagne, as she slowly took down her camera. She couldn't stop smiling, no matter how hard she tried. There were a few small tears of joy running down her face as she stood there, watching Lando having one of the best moments in his life.

As soon as she grabbed her camera again, she noticed Lando running towards her after putting down the bottle of champagne. He had the largest smile on his face, as he jogged in her direction with his arms wide open. He wrapped his arms around her and couldn't help but breath heavily as he arrived in front of her. Julia put her arms around his torso as she felt the butterflies going crazy in her stomach. Both of them never felt a rush like this before. They'd been very happy before, obviously, but this was a kind of happiness they'd never experienced before.

"I'm so proud of you." Julia stated, as she rested her head on his champagne drained shoulder. "But you're soaked."

"Oh? I am?" He raised his eyebrow sarcastically as he grabbed her thighs and lifted her up, holding her securely as he started spinning around. The two of them couldn't stop laughing and also didn't bother the press and people all around them.

Before they could say anything else they saw a part of the McLaren team running towards them as well. Everyone was smiling, celebrating and just having a good time. Julia knew she'd like working for Lando, but she didn't expect herself to actually become passionate about the sport. Standing there in the crowd made her realize she'd already become super passionate, not only about the sport, but about everyone she'd met on her journey — especially Lando.

"What a day." Lando sighed with a grin on his face as the two of them walked along the track since they stayed in the paddock all day for the interviews and celebrations. As the sky slowly started becoming dark, they decided to take a walk around the track to calm down from everything that happened.

Julia hadn't stopped smiling since Lando crossed the finish line, and still felt the butterflies in her stomach. Yet Lando didn't feel very different. He was thankful to spend one of the best moments of his life with Julia.

"I told you your first podium was close." Julia chuckled, "wow I sound like a psychic."

"I'm just glad," Lando replied, grabbing Julia's hand gently, just staring at the colorful sky. "I'm really glad you were there."

Julia couldn't help but stop walking for a second. "I'm really glad you gave me this opportunity." They'd now both stopped walking and looked at each other with wide smiles on their faces.

"What do you even mean?"

"I don't know. I'm just really happy." She hesitated, "I'm really happy I made a lot of experiences and met a lot of new people, especially you."

Lando didn't even bother answering. His heart skipped a beat when he heard the last sentence coming from her. He still didn't really figure out what was going on between them. Since the kiss, they'd been back to normal. Nothing special, just the occasional flirting mixed with some light displays of affection. Too afraid to make things awkward, he didn't act on the kiss too much.

Julia noticed him getting stuck in his thoughts, gently squeezing his hand as she got a bit closer to him. "Let's just say I really like you."

She put her arms around his neck, placing a small kiss onto his lips, that quickly turned passionate. Lando had wrapped his arms around her lower waist area tightly, as the two of them continued for a few more minutes.

When their lips slowly separated, they couldn't help but laugh, still a little out of breath. Walking along the track silently, yet totally smitten with each other, they made their way back to the paddock. At this point they couldn't keep away from each other. All of the adrenaline and serotonin had built up and they were still in a state of complete happiness. The chemistry made it hard for them to keep their eyes off of each other.
