Goku has been on Yardrat training and had mastered Instant Transmission though he hadn't gotten the same power multiplier as the original Goku being he much more powerful than anyone on Yardrat so instead of a 3 times multiplier to his power he goes from a power level of 20,000,000 to a power of 22,000,000. Goku is now on his way towards year though he isn't the only one. King Cold is also making his way towards earth to avenge his son.
Now King Cold is ahead of Goku and lands on the earth with the Z-Fighters along with Vegeta and Bulma to the area where he landed and they see as a purple haired stranger killed his soldiers. The purple haired stranger, who we know is Trunks, surrounds himself in a golden aura turning into a Super Saiyan and killing King Cold before going back to his base form and goes to the group. He tells them that Goku will be landing nearby in about an hour. With that he and the group goes over to the spot and waits on Goku to land.
After about an hour a ship crashed near them as Goku stepped out and was greeted by everyone before the purple hair stranger who I'm just going to call Trunks takes him aside and tells him of the androids as well as who he is and giving him the medicine for the heart virus. After telling him this Trunks leaves in his time machine and Goku tells the other about the androids but not about Trunks. Bulma suggests they find Dr.Gero's lab and kill him before he makes the Androids but they decided against.
For the next three years Goku, Gohan, Piccolo and surprisingly Vegeta start to train. Vegeta is at a power of 65,000,000 and 3,250,000,000 when Super Saiyan, Piccolo is at a power of 1,800,000,000, Gohan is at a power of 30,000,000 and 1,500,000,000 when Super Saiyan though he is new to the form, and Goku is at a power of 77,000,000 and 3,850,000,000.
Everyone gathers at South City, including Vegeta who had been around Bulma more and is more like the Vegeta in Super who does love Bulma. After Yajirobe gives them a bag of Senzu beans which are a lot more than in the original, let's day 24, being that Dende was able to heal them during their training and during some spare time Dende teaches this healing ability to Gohan though it takes more energy to do than when Dende does it though Gohan has much more energy than Dende.
As they watched Yajirobe leave his car is destroyed by the Androids which go into the city followed by the searching Z-Fighters. Yamcha is the first to find the Androids in which Android 20 a.k.a Dr.Gero stabbed his hand through his chest before the others find him. Gohan heals Yamcha before they go to an uninhabited area to fight though Goku was very fatigued even though he hadn't used any energy.
This time instead of Goku fighting Android 19 it is Gohan who goes Super Saiyan and it soon becomes apparent that Gohan is far stronger than Gohan that is until Gohan shoots a Kamehameha at Android 19 which is absorbed. At that point Goku fell to the ground screaming holding his chest as the heart virus took effect. Gohan, distracted by his father's screams, gets grabbed by Android 19 as he started to drain his energy causing Gohan to drop out of Super Saiyan.
Vegeta then kicked the Android off Gohan grabbing Gohan by the back of the shirt before he falls and tossing him down to the group with Piccolo being the big green uncle by catching him giving him a Senzu bean. Vegeta then turns Super Saiyan and without much effort destroyed Android 19 however before he could do the same to Android 20 a.k.a Dr.Gero he ran away to activate Android 17 and Android 18.
Vegeta and the group, except Yamcha who takes Goku to his house to get him the heart medication, go after Gero though without luck until Gero ambushed Piccolo and started to drain him of energy before Gohan kicked him off Piccolo. After Gohan healed him Piccolo started to fight Gero but everyone got distracted when Gero shot down a flying car with Bulma, a baby Trunks, and Yajirobe in it but this time instead of Trunks saves his baby self and Bulma its Vegeta who saves them. As Vegeta landed with Bulma and Trunks, the Trunks from the future landed there.
He explained that these Android aren't the ones from his future and Bulma says Gero has a lab somewher in the mountains near West City. Everyone splits up with Gohan going with Piccolo, Trunks going with his father and Krillin and Tien going by themselves. Krillin gets attacked by Gero after he is near Gero's lab but eats a Senzu bean leaving 17 left. Krillin raised his power as everyone started flying towards them.
Tien, Piccolo, and Gohan were the first to arrive as they try and force the lab door open with no success. Gero activates Android 17 and Android 18 as Vegeta and Trunks arrives and Vegeta blasts the doors open as Android knocked the head off Gero and crushed it.
