Chapter 18- Jealousy.

Mina sighs. She's now in the school's library, thinking about what happened few days ago. Her textbook is opened, she's now studying for her Science exam next week.

But her mind cannot stop thinking about one thing. Chaeyoung has a boyfriend. She knows she shouldn't feel that way, but she can't get the image of Jeno not giving attention to Chaeyoung at all from her head. What kind of lover treats his girlfriend like that? It pissed Mina off. Chaeyoung definitely deserves better.

She shakes her head and closes the book. "This won't do." She mutters while sighing. She decides to open her phone and check if she got any messages.

Momo: The whole school is going insane after Somi announced the new couple

Momo: Jeno and Chaeyoung... can you believe that? And we clowns thought they were bestfriends.

Mina frowns. Why does anybody care? Let them be or whatever.

Mina: That's good for them.

She closes her phone and opens the book again. She took a few minutes looking for the page, seems like she lost it from all the thinking.

"Oh, it was page 182. Here, let me help you." She felt two hands grab her book closer and flip the pages. "This is what's coming in our exam next week." That person smiles at her warmly.

Mina looks back, she recognized the figure and formed a weak smile. "Ah, Jae. Thank you."

She turns back to the page and starts reading. She noticed that Jaemin was still staring at her so she turns back, "What? What is it?" She asks jokingly.

"Can I join here? I'll be quiet." He pouts like a kid, receiving a smack on his arm from Mina.

"I'll let you If you don't do that ever again." She gives him a serious face. He chuckles and nods while having a seat beside her.

He opens his bag and grabs his textbook. They're both now reading quietly. Mina then says something and breaks the silence, seems like she's been thinking about that thing for a while now. "Where's Jeno?"

Jaemin looks at her, "Jeno? Oh, he's with Chaeyoung and Somi." He smiles then looks back at his book. Mina nods and tries to focus again. Few minutes later she speaks again, "What are they doing?" She can't seem to get this thing off her mind, like it's bugging her.

Jaemin chuckles, "Just eating lunch, I guess."

Mina wanted to asked him more questions like why he's not joining them for lunch, but she thought she asked too much and now she's the one who isn't really being quiet.

"Did you eat?" Jaemin asks. Mina shakes her head. "Why why? You should eat. Let's go grab lunch." He tries to cheer her up and convince her.

She sighs, "It's okay. I just dont feel my appetite lately."

Jaemin looks at her with two concerned orbs, "Everything okay? You seem bothered."

Jaemin asking her such a question is a good opportunity to let things out, tell someone how she really feels. That weird feeling inside her, she's hoping for someone to explain it. But... she can't do that, no. It's not that easy. It's not an easy task for Mina to open up to people, it's what she has been taught her whole life. Opening up to people, telling them your concerns, your worries, your insecurities, what's that? If it weren't for Sana and Momo, Mina does not know what she would have done.

Should she just let everything out? But, even if she did. How is she going to explain how she feels, when she doesn't really understand her feelings? How can she put it into words? Too much thinking.. maybe it's not worth it. She can survive locking her feelings inside a little longer. Just a little longer, she hopes.
