Chaeyoung doesn't reply so Mina speaks again. "I'm not sure why I did this. But I know for sure that I did not do it because I didn't want you close to Sana." When Mina said this her eyes widened to her own words.

I did not do it because I didn't want you close to Sana.

Mina gets it now. She did not do it because she didnt want Chaeyoung close to Sana.

"It's okay. I believe you." Chaeyoung smiles that makes Mina snap out of her thoughts and look at her. "Really?" Mina asked, making sure the latter isn't upset anymore.

Her dimple was revealed as she smiled and nodded. Mina couldn't help but smile too.

"Mina-yah!" Someone calls her from behind. They both recognize the voice before they turn around. He walks towards them, looking a little bit nervous "I need to talk to you."

Mina nodded and excused herself. "I'll wait here." Chaeyoung said, sitting on the bench that isn't so far from their sight.

That person takes Mina few feet away from Chaeyoung but the small girl could still see them. "Yeah, Jae?" Mina breaks the tension. Jaemin looks at her and chuckles nervously "Not even a hi? Anyways, how are you?"

Mina furrowed her eyebrows. 'What's gotten into him?' She thought. "I'm good."

"Ah, that's good because yesterday you were..." He rubs his nape "Upset I think." He confronts her. Mina even until now doesn't know why she was like that. "It's okay now. Sorry if I made you worry." He shakes his hands almost too quickly "No, no. I'm just glad you're better now."

Mina nodded "Is that why you called me?"

He looks down and starts fidgeting with his fingers. "Actually..." He trailed off. "Mhm?" He looks at her nervously "Can we hang out somewhere after school?" He finally asked. He was really nervous of her response but she just chuckles and that eases him. "Of course. We haven't done that in a while." She ruffles his hair.

"Anything else? Flu- Chaeyoung's waiting." She points at the small figure at the bench who was stealing small glances at them every while and then. "A-Ah, no. Thank you Mina." He stuttered. He couldn't hide his happiness. He was finally going to have alone time with Mina, his bestfriend.

"Yeah? I'll go now. Bye!" They both seperated and he was out of sight. Mina approached Chaeyoung slowly who was on her phone. She walked towards her from behind the bench and squatted down. She hugs her from the back, their heads glued together. She was smiling sheepishly "Is that me on your phone?" She asked in a soft low voice that sent shivers down Chaeyoung's spine. The small girl swears her heart had skipped a beat. She was surprised. She thought, what's Mina doing?

She hid her phone in her pocket but still couldn't face the older woman because their heads were too close. Mina then hugs her tighter to make her respond. "Stop you're making me flustered." Chaeyoung blushes and replies honestly. "What do you think I'm doing right now?" Mina asked. Chaeyoung replied almost too immediately with a stiff joke to ease the atmosphere "You're embarrasing me." She said as she stood up and chuckled.
