Chapter 7- Heartbeat

The J-line woke up early today. They ate breakfast and got ready for school. They got out of their room. Sana tells Mina that they're going to do something before they arrive which leaves no choice to Mina but go to school alone.

"Okay... so this is their room." Sana sighs looking at a door infront of her, putting her arms on her waist. Momo nods. "I guess. Knock on the door."

Knock knock.

One more time...

Knock Knock.

"Naeeee. Comiiing. " They heard a voice coming in from inside. "Who are y--" Chaeyoung halts. "Oh.. g-good morning." She bows to show some respect.

"Good morning." They both reply back in unison with a smile plastered on their faces.

Chaeyoung felt like this situation was so awkward. She was confused? She had so many questions on her mind.. like how they knew this was their room or why they came here in the first place. She couldn't control her curiosity so she starts asking the girls. "Are you perhaps looking for Somi? If so... she's still sleeping... y-you may come inside and wake her up." She shrugs away the idea of them knowing which room they live in, for now.

Momo started explaining as she felt how confused the younger girl was because of this awkward situation. "Actually yesterday we were going back to our room and..." She lost track of what she was going to say so Sana continues. "And we saw you guys entering this room. Which is.. infront of ours." She continues, pointing at her room.
"We live in the same dorm! isn't that amazing?" Sana cheers with a big grin.

Does that mean Chaeyoung and Mina live in the same dorm? This is not going to end well. Chaeyoung doesn't know what to say so she just awkwardly smiles and nods. After that, no one said anything which made the atmosphere even more awkward. Chaeyoung cleared her throat. "You may get inside if you want." She said making a path with her hands for them to come in. "Oh."
They both got inside and the first thing they saw was a bed with a lot of drawing sketches and a big strawberry squishy beside the pillow. And on the other bed there was a sleeping beauty.

They firmly walk towards the sleeping figure infront of them, but they stop and look back at Chayoung once she throws a thoughtful question at them. "Oh, by the way. Why are you guys here?" She tilts her head. "Remember when we asked you guys if you wanna hang out?" Chaeyoung nods. "Well we came here to tell you about it.. we can all hang out together after school."

Chaeyoung then thought about something. What does she mean by 'all of us together.' Hanging out with Mina was a big NO for her.

"...All of us together?"

"Yeah. Me, Momo, You, and Somi."

Phew.. Chaeyoung sighs in relief. It's as if a heavy weight got lifted out of her shoulders and her heart felt at ease. This was all she wished to hear. She couldn't be more thankful.

"But why are you asking?" Sana furrows her eyebrows. "Ah, it's nothing." Chaeyoung shakes her head.

Sana and Momo stare at the sleeping girl infront of them in silence, hesitating whether they should wake her up or let her roommate do it so she won't get startled from the new face appearances infront of her. Chaeyoung notices and chuckles at this sight, which earns both Momo and Sana's attention. They shift their gazes from Somi to Chaeyoung.

"What's funny?" Sana asks. "Are you shy to wake her up? Here you just gotta-" She stops talking and let her actions explain what she was about to do next. She jumps on top of the girl who's in deep sleep and flicks her nape. Somi groans in pain and moves to the left so she could get the small girl off her body. Chaeyoung laughs at the girl who just woke up. This is how she wakes up her roommate everyday and Somi got used to it.
