Destiny was at the supermarket, which was odd because she should have been at Cindy's house. The list that Cindy wrote consisted of three items. Eggs, milk, and butter, and those foods are grouped in the dairy. So unless the store ran out of them, Destiny would not have a problem getting them and trading an intriguing or valuable item for them.

But Destiny was not in the dairy aisle. Heck, not even eggs, milk, or butter were in her cart. Now that I, the narrator, am examining the inside of her cart more closely, there were no foods that are supposed to go in the fridge or freezer. Does that make you curious, readers? She is up to something sinister.

Cindy's cousin was in an aisle that displayed paper towels and toilet paper and plastic cups and anything else that you can buy in a market and that is not eligible. Her cart was full, so full that a couple items continued sliding off and falling to the ground. She was frustrated and considered leaving the cart and the stuff she had a desire to buy. But she knew all too well that was not an option.

She was at the end of the aisle and about to pick up a hand sanitizer when her hand and arm went right through a blue dust cloud. She was taken aback and pulled her arm back. It did not take her long to realize that the dust cloud was her cousin. Not Cindy. Their magical cousin.

Poof! In place of the cloud was Diversity. She looked excellent. Healthy. That was because she was happy. Over the moon that her plan worked. Or so she thought. You readers are probably wondering what her plan was, are you not? She vowed that Ava was going to pay for defeating her and making her a laughingstock. Diversity convinced Destiny to switch the pills in order for Caleb to be killed. They covered Caleb's bottle with Ava's fingerprints and wore gloves whenever they touched the bottle so that their fingerprints would not show.

Why would Diversity and Destiny murder Caleb? If they desired to frame Ava, why not choose another victim and leave Caleb be? Seeing that Ava is a villain and does not care about anyone but herself, it would be believable that she murdered a person that was a stranger towards her. But Diversity knew that this was the chance to be rid of that pesky Caleb once and for all, and Destiny agreed.

"This is what you are doing, Destiny?" Diversity said. "Caleb is gone forever, and you are just shopping? Or did you party on his death day?"

"I am shopping for Cindy," Destiny replied. "Well, I am not really shopping for her. I just told her that so I could have an excuse to shop."

Diversity snatched the list from Destiny's hand and read it. She handed it back to her and said, "Cindy must have been eating a lot since that her husband died."

Destiny motioned to what was in the cart. "This is mine. All mine. I am putting these in my car and leaving forever."

"'Forever'?"

"Yes, and I am never coming back."

"May I ask why?"

Destiny lowered her voice to a whisper. "Can we talk about this when we are not in public?"

"Suit yourself."

Diversity snapped her fingers, and she, her cousin, and the cart teleported into a dark room that they had never been in before.

"Where are we?!" Destiny yelled.

Diversity put a finger to her lips. "Shh. We are in a part of the warehouse that the workers never go until closing time."

"Forlot does not have a warehouse."

"No, but the supermarket does."

"Oh. That explains why I smell chocolate."

Diversity snatched her cousin's purse.

"Hey!"

She unzipped the purse and opened it. "What do we have here?" She took out a passport and some money. "You do realize that you will be jailed if the townsfolk discover that you have money. Money is illegal in Forlot."

Destiny snatched back her purse and the passport and money. "Money is needed if you want to survive in the real world. I am leaving the United States and moving to a spot in the world where I can begin a new life. Maybe on a tropical island. I will change my names and looks."

"You are leaving because you are worried that you will be caught."

"It has been hanging over my head for two months. Two whole months! I cannot take it anymore. Ever since the day that Caleb died, I have been a nervous wreck that Cindy or Ava or anybody will figure it out."

"If they do, I will kill them."

"No, Diversity. You are not taking more souls. Speaking of souls, what did you do with Caleb's?"

Diversity snapped her fingers, and a glass jar appeared and dropped into her palm. A white ball of energy with a blue tail was flying around, trying desperately to find a way out of the jar.

"Whoa," Destiny said as she shoved her passport and money back in her purse. "What are you going to do with Caleb's soul?"

"Eat it."

Destiny's eyes bulged from their sockets.

Her cousin laughed. "Relax. I am only kidding. I have not yet decided what to do with the soul. Whatever it is will be evil."

"Can you control it?"

"I wish. Caleb's soul is incredibly strong. I can feel it tingling in my fingers."

"While you are here, do you mind poofing me and my cart to my car?"

"I will do more than that."

She snapped her fingers once more, and Destiny and her groceries were in her car. The groceries were bagged and in the trunk and backseat. Destiny was in the driver's seat and put her hands on the steering wheel.

"Goodbye, Forlot. I hope that you are destroyed."

"I hope that you die."

Kara was standing by the car.
