"It took a while for me to realize that I loved Carl Grimes. We're best friends though,  I can't tell him how I feel because if he doesn't feel the same, then our friendship will be ruined." You said, talking to Daryl. You could talk to him about anything. You looked up to him, he's always thought the need to protect you. "Y/n, you two have Judith duty today, never know,  he may feel the same. try to talk to him, I know you can do it." He said, smiling. "Hey Y/n,  ready for baby duty? said Carl, wandering into the room. "Yeah." You say, smiling. Carl takes your hand, and goes into the cell with judith. You were memorized when he touched you. Carl left to go use the bathroom, while you were feeding Judith, your back turned to the entrance of the cell. Without a warning, you heard a loud gunshot,  right behind your head. There was Carl holding a gun, and a walker right behind me,  lying on the ground dead. I don't know how I didn't hear it, maybe I was singing too loud? Carl runs up to you and hugs you tight, and backs away awkwardly. "I-i'm sorry." There was an awkward silence for a minute or two. Then he finally spoke up. "Y/n,  will you be my girlfriend? I would feel so much better if I could protect you as all the time! I really care about you. I have for a long time, but if you don't feel the same , I still want to be friends." He babbled on and on and on, nervous. Finally you put him out of his misery and spoke,"Carl I feel the same."

"I knew you wouldn - wait, you do?" He said smiling. "So you'll be mine?"

"Yes Carl." You say, as he goes in to kiss you passionately. For the rest of the evening and night, you two played with Judith and cuddled one another.  After duty ends, Daryl comes to the cell and sees you, Carl, and Judith sleeping. He just smiled, turned out the lantern, and walked away. :)
