Chapter 7- New neighbours

I wake up and realize that it's my fricken birthday. Also remembering that  Quin and I share a birthday I got excited to see him. I don't think he will remember my birthday but it's fine.

I get ready for school and bring Jack to daycare then I go to school and see Quin and immediately ran and jump onto his back and wished him a happy birthday. He thanked me and we turned to see Josh dropping off Nessa since he still had one more day of suspension. She also wished him a happy birthday but to my surprise, she also wished me a happy birthday and gave me a big hug.

Q- Wait, lily It's your birthday too?

L- um ya. Nessa, how did you know?

N- k well I saw it on Snapchat.

L- Oh ok. Well, thank you.

N- anytime babe.

The three of us walked into the school and everyone was staring at us. Probably because It was with them but it was whatever. We saw Cynthia and Avani and I started to get a bit nervous. I think Nessa could tell because she started to talk to me a bit. Mostly just asking me if i was ok and stuff like that.

FAST FORWARD TO THE END OF SCHOOL

We decided to go to the mall so Nessa went to josh's car and I went to Quin's truck. We went to a bunch of stores but I never ended up buying anything because I couldn't really afford anything right now. I quit my dog walking Job so I was a bit tight on cash but my dad sent me $1000 and told me he won't see us for at least another 4 months. I wasn't too mad about not having him around and I was glad that he sent me some money this time.

SKIP 2 WEEKS BECAUSE I'M LAZY

Everything with the squad was going well. We are all getting along really well and I and Nessa are literally best friends now. I'm over my crush on Quinton now and were best friends again, just like it used to be. Nessa got Avani and the others to back off of me so I haven't been bullied at all in the past 2 weeks. I couldn't be happier. Today is also the day my new neighbours are moving in. I saw them looking at the house last week and I think there are 3 kids. 2 girls and a boy. The boy looked about my age and I think the girls were twins but I'm not sure. They look younger than me though.

It is Saturday so I didn't have school. I looked out my bedroom window and saw that the new family was starting to move in already. And of course, the boy takes the room right across from mine, so I could see straight through to him.

After the moving truck was gone it was around 2:30 PM and Jack decided to go and introduce ourselves to them. Honestly, I was kind of nervous but I don't know why. I walked over and knocked on the door and a tall woman opened the door. I'm assuming it was his mom.

L- Hi, I'm lily and this is my brother Jack. we are your neighbours and we wanted to welcome you to our neighbourhood and meet you. I said much more cheerful than I was anticipating.

??- Hi Lily, my name is Amy and this is my husband John. Amy said pointing to the man standing behind her.

L- It is very nice meeting you, Amy and John.

Jh- It is very nice meeting you too.

A- Please, come in. I'll introduce you to my kids.

We went inside and sat on the couches in the living room. Amy called for the kids and it sounded like a bunch of elephants were running down the stairs.

A- Lily, this is Sophie, Haley and Jaden. She pointed at the brunette than the blonde than to the guy.

L- It's nice to meet you guys, I'm Lily, your neighbour.

I thought something was wrong with Jaden because he was just standing there with his mouth half-opened.

H- Jaden you good? She asked, waving her hand in front of his face.

Ja- huh, oh sorry. N-nice to meet y-you too.

L- Anyway, I and a few of my friends are hanging out at my house later if the three of you want to come.

S- actually, Haley and I are going to be busy later but Jaden would LOVE to go. Wouldn't you Jaden?

J- Y-ya s-sure. He was still staring at me.

L- Ok then. Come over to my house at 4:00. I better get going. Jack Is looking really tired.

He just nodded and I said bye to them as I walked out of the door with Jack in my arms. I heard Sophie hit the back of Jaden's head as I closed the door, which made me laugh.

Just before 4:00 Nessa and josh arrived and about 2 minutes later Quin came.

L- Just so y'all know, I have new neighbours and I invited one of them over.

N- Ooo, new friends!!

Q- What's their name?

L- His name is Jaden.

J- Yes another boy!!

Just then Someone knocked on the door. It was obviously Jaden so I let him in and grabbed his wrist and pulled him into the living room.

N- You never said he was hot. She whispered into my ear.

L- Sorry bubs he's mine. I whispered back.

L- Jaden this is Quinton, Josh and Nessa. Guys this is Jaden.

Ja- Nice to meet you guys.

J- hey Jaden already has the same amount of friends as Lily and she has lived here since 3rd grade. He said laughing.

Q- JOSH!

J- right, sorry.

When Josh said that, it honestly makes me really sad because of how true it is. Jaden noticed I was sad Because he wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me into his side. He whispered in my ear "It's ok baby girl, I'm here for you." He smirked which made my eyes go wide. I just giggled and turned back to the group. Quinton looked almost jealous when Jaden smirked at me, which really confused me since I wouldn't ever date him now. So I just brushed it off and we all just started to talk and we ordered pizza for dinner.

After a while, Josh and Quinton left, but Jaden and Nessa were still here. Nessa was staying the night and Jaden wanted to get to know me more so he will probably leave quite a late tonight.
