I started reading the diary and the front page said, "PROPERTY OF LILLIAN SMITH" this name sounded familiar but I didn't know why. I read the whole thing through. Whoever Lilly is, she sounds like she has had a rough life. It was all about her and herself, her depression, her brother, her mom, her abusive dad, volleyball, and this guy that she has liked since the 7th grade, but she never says his name. She wrote a lot of poems and songs too. I started to cry at the ones about her mom and her family.
"I feel sad, lonely, depressed, and I just want all these feelings to END. The only thing keeping me from killing myself is jack. He is all I have left."
How does no one see that she's hurting? Why don't I know who this girl is? Why doesn't she have any friends?
I had nothing but questions.
I looked back through and realized that I missed the last page in the book...
"I hate them, why do they have to be so mean to me, I've never done anything to them. The worst part is that I work for one of them so she thinks she can walk all over me. They are the reason I want to KILL MYSELF"

AFTER WORK
LILLY'S POV
I got home with jack after work and I got dinner for him. I don't usually eat much to save on money. I can't get my diary out of my head. What if Quinton has it? What if he read it? That diary has everything about me in it. I don't tell anyone that stuff. It's to the point where most people think jack is my son.
It was late so i decided to put Jack to bed and go to sleep.
