Chapter 8- sleepover

Jaden's POV

N- I'm hungry.

J- Same.

L- do y'all want to go to chick-fil-a?

N+J- YESSS!

L- ok well let's go then.

J- I'm driving.

The three of us get into my car and go to chick-fil-a. we just talked and laughed for a bit but we went back home because it was already 11:30 PM. once we got back I thought it would be a good idea to play 20 questions to get to know each other.

J- do you guys want to play 20 questions?

L- Ya sure.

N- ya we don't know each other that well.

I was kind of confused about why they didn't know each other very well so I decided to ask them.

J- Wait, why don't you guys know each other that well? aren't you guys like friends?

N- Oh well, It's sort of complicated-

L- Long story short she was bullied into bullying me by quin's ex and then Josh made nessa stand up for herself and shit so here we are.

J- Oh, so you haven't really been friends for a long time?

L- Nope, all of that happened yesterday so... ya.

N- Ya but were all good now and I don't even talk to Cynthia anymore.

I feel bad for Lily. I can't believe she forgave Nessa for bullying her. she doesn't deserve that. 

L- let's start. what's your favourite colour?

N- yellow.

J+L- Black.

We both just look at each other for a second before Nessa interrupted.

N- ok next question. What do your parents do for a living?

I could tell Lily was sad by the question because she looked down at her hands and started fiddling with them.

(I'm going to make up their jobs because I don't want to look it up.)

J- my mom's an interior designer and my dad doesn't work.

N- my mom's a lawyer and my dad is a plumber.

J- what about you Lil?

L- um, uh. My dad doesn't have a job from what I know of but yet again I haven't seen him In quite a few months... and my mom is dead so she obviously doesn't have a job.

When she said that it broke my heart. she has to take care of Jack all by herself and not even to mention having to support the two of them while she's in school. 

J- Oh Im sorry, I didn't know.

L- no It's ok I'm fine.

N- I've always wondered why you work for cynthia's family and the diner. 

J- so you are a straight-A student, you work two jobs and take care of Jack? how do you have time for all of this and have enough money to pay for this house?

L- I mean it's not easy, my dad sends me a few hundred dollars a month to help pay for the house and food and shit but Cynthia pays me hella cash so that is also helpful. I only live in this house still because It keeps me close to my mom.

N- I'm sorry Lily, I never knew any of this.

L- It's ok. no one knew about this. well, actually quin found out last week when he read my diary.

J- Quin read your diary without you knowing?

L- I dropped It while I was running away from quin and he didn't know who it belonged to so he read it.

J- why were you running away from him?

L- Ok so instead of you asking m more questions I'll just explain to you both everything that has happened in the last few weeks, but I really don't want you guys sharing this with anyone. I'm only telling you because I trust you.

N- we won't tell anyone.

J- you can trust me with this.

 She went on and told us about everything. I feel so bad for her. She's had such a rough life and no one even knows what's happening. I can't believe anyone would treat her the way everyone has.

J- I'm sorry bubs, you deserve better.

N- Ya and I'm so so so sorry for the way I treated you. I was too scared of Cynthia to stand up for you or myself and I didn't even think about what you could have been going through.

L- It's fine really. It's all in the past I forgive you.

J- Ok I think that's enough tears for today. Netflix?

L+N- YESS

N- OBX?

L- Um is that even a question?

We all laugh and put on OBX. lily and I were cuddled up on the couch and Nessa was on the chair beside us. we watched a few episodes and then we all fell asleep.

A/N- I had a hard time figuring out what to write in this chapter so appreciate the 4 hours that went into this chapter.
