Chapter 5

TRIGGER WARNING

A few days pass and Andy is still living with Remington, too afraid to go back home in fear of seeing Ashley. Andy knows that if he sees Ashley, he's going to break down worse than he did at the park. He still has no idea what's going to happen to the band. It's not like he can just tell the other guys 'hey I can't handle seeing Ashley anymore we need a new bassist' with no explanation of why or what happened between them.

While Remington is in his room on the phone with Sebastian, there's a knock on the door. Andy doesn't want to disturb Remington, so he answers the door himself. When he opens the door, he automatically wishes he hadn't.

"Andy! Thank goodness I found you!" Ashley says, pushing past Andy and walking into the house.

Andy is about to yell for Remington to come downstairs, but is cut off by Ashley.

"Andy, please come back to me. I didn't mean to hurt you. I was drunk. It didn't mean anything. You're my world, Andy. Please. I need you back. I was worried sick when you didn't answer my messages. I love you, Andy. I need you." Ashley begs, holding Andy against the wall by his shoulders.

Andy always hated when Ashley held him down like this. It makes him feel trapped and like he can't escape.

"I-I can't." Andy says unsurely.

"Andy, please. I need you in my life. I need you to come back to me." Ashley says, raising his voice slightly and tightening his grip on Andy's shoulders.

Andy can't find his voice, so he just shakes his head.

"Goddammit Andy!" Ashley yells and slaps Andy across the face, causing him to fall to the floor.

"Can't you see that I love you? Come back to me!" He yells even louder, causing Andy to start panicking.

Andy feels like the walls are caving in on him and like there's no way out of this. Part of him wants to take Ashley back just so he'll stop yelling at him, at least for now, but the other part of him knows he'll just get hurt again. He can't breathe and he knows he's going to cry, but he's trying so hard not to so Ashley doesn't yell at him for crying too.

"Are you deaf?! I said come back to me!" Ashley screams at Andy as he pulls him up off the floor and throws him on the couch.

Remington is upstairs talking to Sebastian when he hears someone yelling. He doesn't hear Andy's voice, so he tells Sebastian he'll call him later and goes downstairs to see what's happening.

When he gets downstairs, he sees Andy on the couch shaking and obviously having a panic attack, and Ashley screaming at him to go back to him.

"Why the fuck are you here?! Get out if my house now!" Remington yells.

Andy hears Remington's voice and jumps over the back of the couch, running straight into Remington's arms. He holds onto Remington so tightly that it's hard for Remington to breathe, but he doesn't mind. He know's Andy is scared shitless and is looking for any protection/comfort he can find right now.

"I came to take back what's mine." Ashley states, matter of factly.

"Andy is a human being. He doesn't belong to you or anyone. He can make that decision for himself." Remington says harshly, holding Andy tighter.

"Get. Out. Of. My. House. Now." Remington seethes. There's burning hate in his eyes that seems to scare Ashley. And Andy too a little.

With that, Ashley leaves. But not without telling the other two that he will be back.
