Love The Void {REMDY}

Chapter 9

A/N: sorry I haven't updated in a while. Kinda lost motivation for a while, but I'm trying to get some more chapters done for this book. :))

A few weeks pass and Remington and Andy keep falling more and more in love with each other, and Andy has officially moved in with Remington. They had called Jinxx and asked him if he could drive passed Ashley's house to see if he was home or not so they could go pick up Andy's clothes and things while Jinxx stayed outside to make sure Ashley didn't come back while Andy was still there. It was hard and emotionally draining for Andy to be back in that house and he felt like he was on the verge of a breakdown for most of the time that they were there, but Remington did everything he could to help Andy stay calm so they could leave as quick as possible, and he also made sure to give Andy lots of cuddles and kisses once they were back home.

Later that evening, Andy's phone rings. He looks down at the caller ID and just the name itself almost sends Andy straight into a panic attack.

He ignores the call and lets it go to voicemail. However, when Andy doesn't answer, the person just keeps calling. Even after blocking the number, the calls don't stop, as the person is now using a private number.

Andy, in a state of panic, shuts his phone down so it stops ringing and screams for Remington to come into the room. When Remington comes in, Andy runs straight into his arms, crying.

"Hey, whats wrong sweetheart?" Remington asks quietly as he holds Andy and softly strokes his hair to calm him down before he gets too worked up.

"He won't stop calling me. 'm scared." Andy cries and hugs Remington tighter, hiding his face in his shoulder.

"Who? Ashley?" Remington asks, worried.

Andy nods.

"Did you block his phone number?" He asks as he rubs Andy's back, trying to soothe him in some way.

Andy nods again and holds onto Remington as if he'd disappear at any second.

Before Remington can answer, there's a pounding on the door.

"Andy! I know your here! Open this fucking door this instant!" Ashley yells from outside, still pounding on the door.

Andy squeals from fear and jumps into His boyfriend's arms so Remington is carrying him. Remington carries Andy upstairs and into their bedroom and sets Andy on the bed so he can lock the bedroom door. Being away from Remington makes Andy cry harder, even tho it's only for a few seconds.

Remington sits down next to Andy on the bed and Andy immediately crawls into his lap, holding onto him and sobbing into his shoulder.

"It's okay, baby. We're gonna be okay." Remington whispers as he grabs his phone off the nightstand and calls the cops.

He tells the operator what's happening and they tell him that someone is on the way. After about five minutes, Remington and Andy hear police sirens. The two go downstairs to go outside and talk to the police officers.

When they get outside, they seen one officer putting handcuffs on Ashley and putting him in the back of the car while another officer is coming towards them to talk to them.

The officer asks them questions like if they know Ashley, how they know him, their relationship with him, what happened between them, everything. It's hard for Andy to talk about it, and he's still crying pretty hard, which is making it harder for him to speak. Each time the officer asks a question, Andy hugs Remington tighter. Remington ends up answering all the questions while still holding Andy and trying to calm him down.

After the officers leave, Remington and Andy go back inside the house and cuddle on the couch while Andy tries to calm himself down and Remington continues to comfort him.

"It's okay, baby. We're safe now. He can't hurt you anymore." Remington whispers as he holds Andy tightly.

"I'm sorry." Andy whispers once he calms down and pulls away slightly to wipe his eyes.

"No, babe, don't apologize. None of this is your fault." Remington whispers and pulls Andy into his arms again, kissing his head and hugging him tightly.

"It's my fault that you got dragged into this. If I didn't exist, none of this would be happening." Andy whispers, sniffling and leaning into Remington and hugging him.

"Baby please don't think like that. It's not your fault that any of this is happening. It's not your fault that he hurt you so badly. You didn't deserve any of that, and you don't deserve any of this. You deserve all the love in the world, and I promise I'm gonna give you as much love as I possibly can." Remington whispers as he gently runs his hand through Andy's hair and kisses his head.

"I love you." Andy whispers and curls up to Remington as close as he can possibly get.

"I love you too, my sweet Andy."
