Delilah's POV:
Leslie takes me out some days mostly twice every week but so far I've been hanging out with friends since Leslie still has to go to college during the week. Today is Saturday so Leslie's gonna come over and we're gonna take a trip to the zoo. Which I'll admit I'm excited, I've slipped up on calling her mommy which surprises us both but so far I've kept myself pretty contained. Brushing out my damp hair, i stared at my dull eyes, the life seemed sucked out. Not having Leslie around all the time is tiring, I'm used to sleeping peacefully knowing she's there but now I stay up wondering if she's okay. Walking into my room, i chose out a outfit and turned to cocoa who was laying on my bed,
"What do you think of this outfit?", cocoa looked at me and made no move, "Okay let's find a different one", changing into a new outfit I felt comfortable in this one. Slipping on my shoes, I bounced downstairs into the kitchen where I grabbed a piece of pan dulce. I always called my favorite the pink one but I'd never know what it's actually called, momo came in and kissed my head before telling me to be safe. Momo and momma were gonna go shopping while I was out for the day, walking around the house i picked up S'mores and cuddled him softly. Seeing Leslie pull up, I smiled and set S'mores down, grabbing my keys I kissed cocoas head and left out the front door, locking it.
"You're looking cute"
"You don't look bad yourself", I replied softly looking at her black pants and a random shirt thrown over. Rolling her eyes she threw me my black jacket, all I could think was how Leslie smelt so heavenly. Leslie always smelt good but this must be a new cologne or something because oh gosh, the scent couldn't be explained. Leslie and I made small talk while I saw the buildings go by us, we talked about very random things,
"Les, what was your childhood like. I mean you never talk about it"
"Well I grew up practically alone, my mother and father were always busy with work so my grandma raised me. That lady was the one who taught me how to love and then eventually my dad opened up about what he works in and how I'll have to step up with my brothers one day. But I grew up with a small group of friends, the only family were them and my grandma. I spent most of my years on the streets but it was a good moment, my grandma died when I was 16. After that I moved out and didn't Plan to look back until I turned 17, my dad called me back and then we built back our relationship"
"Did you ever date anyone", I asked softly. I felt bad about her life, not having parents there.
"Yes, I've dated a couple girls in my past time. They never stayed because I wasn't willing to be their sugar daddy practically so they would cheat or lie or just get up and leave". Nodding I saw us pull into the parking lot,
"Anyways lets just have a good day love, I already know you're gonna be my soulmate", with that I jumped out and grabbed her hand. I'm so ready for today, getting inside I noticed Leslie was pulling me towards a certain direction, looking at her in confusion it quickly faded once I saw Koda and everyone else.
"KODA, GUYSSS", I ran over so excited. Koda I've seen recently but everyone else it's been quite awhile. Sophia even gave me a little smile and that was when Liam started talking, it seemed as so Liam was big this time because he was taking control while Bea stayed right by him.
"Alright guys so where should we go first and absolutely no arguing"
"DOLPHINS"
"Baby they don't have those here, it's a zoo not aquarium"
"Elephants..?", Sophia said softly and everyone agreed. Grabbing Leslie's hand her and I started walking with the group, the sun was out today and it felt nice, the warmth lit up our skins and we all looked glowing. Smiles adorned everyone's face, Sophia and Max giggled with his arms wrapped around her lovingly. Bea and Liam dancing around together, Liam twirling her, Bea always had a little bounce in her walk. Ashton playing with Kota, Ashton must be felling Kota a joke as they were both talking quietly. Then finally Ryan and Leslie, talking about going to a concert together, Leslie kept me close by and held my hand as I looked around at the people going by us. Leslie's hands felt soft but firm and I loved feeling her next to me knowing she's not going anywhere. Seeing the elephants, I let go of Leslie's hands and grabbed Koda, dragging him over to the elephants. Excitedly I turned around to show Leslie but realized I had dragged Koda and I a bit far away from them and with all the people here I had lost them.
"Uhhh...koda", I spoke softly, tugging at his shirt, "we've lost the group in the crowd of people"
"Hm?", Koda turned around and realized the same thing as me, he had been too busy admiring the elephants, "uhm let's just go back the way we came", nodding him and I started going back but we weren't finding them and by the time we realized we went farther than the last time we saw them we had already made it to where the giraffes were.
"Shit shit what do we do", Koda said worriedly, "didn't you bring your phone with you lilah?"
"It was in Leslie's backpack, what about yours?"
"Ryan took it away cause I was staying up late on my phone"
"Oh nos", looking around I started panicking. How can I lose the most important person in my life...

Leslie's POV:
I had seen her run off with Koda, I had them in my sight but I turned around for a second and they were gone. Ryan and no one else had seen where they went but me, how could I turn my back on them...
