Chapter 23

Delilah's POV:
"Okay! So today we will be making turkeys for thanksgiving day", the teacher said happily while I sat at a colorful desk with two other littles. It was gonna be thanksgiving tomorrow which excited me, it was hard for Leslie and I to decide which family to spend time with but we decided that tomorrow we will spend two days with Leslie's family and then the next weekend we would spend it with my moms. Tonight the group is gathering at Beas apartment to spend a good thanksgiving dinner together before we all split off to our own family. Grabbing the brown paint, I noticed that the same little that had thrown my phone was in this class. My eyes lingered on them but they hadn't noticed me, they were sat at a different table. Painting some paint on my hands, I splat some on the girls hand next to me since she asked for some. I chose a pink paper and slammed my hand down on the table, giggling I grabbed the feathers and glue. This was going to be my ultimate masterpiece, I made him look so pretty with pink eyes and colorful purple feathers. My boots were in my cubby so I had my socks on and this cute little dress that Leslie dressed me in for tonight, my head hurt since she did my hair tighter than usual. Giving my master piece to the teacher, she took it to the drying rack and let me play. I went to the center of the room and started playing with the blocks, Leslie had talked to the supervisor about my phone and it turns out the little does have a cg but it's a babysitter. The little had paid me the money for the phone which I was thankful about. That was until they appeared next to me,
"I'm jj"
"Delilah", I said quietly and continued playing with the blocks. They just rolled their eyes and walked away, I played until Leslie came to pick me up. I went to go grab my turkey when I turned around to Leslie holding jj, which upset me until Leslie went and gave jj almost immediately to the teacher. JJ looked upset while Leslie grabbed my backpack and boots, skipping over to Leslie. I gave her my turkey and she slipped my boots on me. They were pretty white boots since snowfall was starting already, a thin layer had already started. Leslie hummed gently while she led me down the hall and put towards the store. I held her hand all throughout her buying green beans and other stuff to make a green bean casserole. My eyes caught onto the chocolate chip cookies,
"Mommy?"
"Yes baby"
"Cookies?", i asked and grabbed the container of cookies. Leslie thought for a moment and saw my puppy eyes, "okay baby". Smiling at that, I proudly placed my cookies on the conveyer belt and helped her put the ingredients on the conveyer too. It was a lady working at the cashier, she smiled at how excited I looked for my cookies. Leslie started s conversation with me while she scanned my cookies and gave me them. I took them and said thank you and then grabbed the rest of the bags. Leslie opened up our apartment door and got tackled by the two excited dogs, s'mores came and said his daily greeting. Picking him up, I watched mommy walk into the kitchen and start grabbing out the ingredients.
"Baby?"
"Yes"
"Can you grab the dogs leashes and take them out?"
"Without mommy?"
"Without mommy baby, i know you Can do It. Plus i think Ryan will be coming in with Koda by the time the dogs use the restroom", hearing that, I nodded and grabbed their leashes. I clipped on cocoas and Kings, King always scared other littles but to me he felt like a protector. I let the dogs off the leash when I reached the grass area, letting them do their business. I saw the little with a group of their friends, they caught sight of me almost immediately.
"Oh look Its Sophia's friend", one of them snickered. King immediately came to my side and Cocoa soon joined,
"H-hi"
"Wheres your mommy at, huh?"
"Uh- Shes cooking"
"So she's not around", one of the girls said, walking up to me. Cocoa looked up at me worried until Ryan all of a sudden came in and swooped me up,
"Girls, get moving", he said sternly and started tickling me. I laughed uncontrollably, dropping the leashes from my hands. Koda had a goofy grin on his face, he picked up the leashes and walked king and Cocoa while Ryan swung me around all the way back into our apartment lobby. Leslie must've heard the giggling ruckus we made because she opened the door to me on Ryan's back and the dogs walked right past her and onto the couch. Ryan only talked for a little bit since he had to get his dish ready too. I walked into the kitchen and looked through the fridge for snacks, Leslie came in and gave me apple sauce which I took happily. Watching adventure time, my tummy was grumbling from smelling the delicious food but i stayed patient. I saw Leslie take it out of the oven and wrap it up, setting it in a bag. With that she threw some other things in the bag and walked over to me. Grabbing the remote she turned it off and picked me up, placing me on her hip. Leslie grabbed my boots and slipped it on my feetsies, and she slipped on some black boots she had. Grabbing the bag and her backpack, we headed out the door and towards Beas apartment....

"THATS NOT RIGHT LIAM", Sophia shouted at him using the red icing as the turkeys body. Max had baked us some plain sugar cookies for us to decorate in icing. Laughing, all of us were having a good time, our Cgs were setting up the food, Bea had scattered bean bags around the living room and blankets and stuff for all of us to sit together in the living room. I finished off my cookie as Koda and I clinked ours together and bit their heads off,
"Guys come eat", Ashton said which made all of us come jump up. Leslie wrapped one of her arms around my neck and the other around my waist. Kissing me neck gently as we watched everyone else get food, it felt nice to spend a holiday together. It feels like she's gonna be here for every thanksgiving, Easter, Halloween, Christmas, and especially Valentine's Day. Eventually Leslie got us a plate, I asked for extra stuffing since I really love stuffing. Leslie pulled me down onto her lap and we shared a full plate of food. Ashton looked a little sad by himself because everyone was together but he still didn't have a little. It saddened all of us that Ashton hadn't found his forever, but all of us were always here for him. Ryan treated Ashton like his little brother and Koda always enjoyed having Ashton over. So Koda Reached over and gave Ashton a piece Of turkey which Ashton took happily. We all talked about school and college and lots of other things; Leslie gave me a sippy full of apple juice and then we all decided to spend some quality time with each other. The group decided to do a bonding activity with boundaries, the entire group was gonna be paired up differently so a little with a cg and together they're gonna color a coloring and see who's the best. I ended up being put with Liam, since he was now big and Bea was little. Liam sat me down next to him and we both were laughing at the different colors we could use. We got a bunch of glitter and decided we were going to color the turkey into a drag queen. Glitter,glue,crayons, and love went into this, Liam was so proud of our little creation which I definitely agreed on. Leslie had gotten paired with Bea, which was fine with me because bea was happy to be working with Leslie. Sophia was laughing uncontrollably, eventually all of us finished our drawings and posted a poll on our Instagram accounts. Liam got up and announced that it was dessert time, of course I got excited because i love dessert so so much. Leslie walked Over and scooped me up into her arms, I got apple pie with tons of whipped cream on it. Leslie shook her head at me but kept a smile adorned on her face...
