Delilah's POV: Today's Saturday thank god, we've been hanging out with the same group but today Mommy and I agreed to get out of this town for a little bit send spend some time out. Apparently there's another quite big city about an hour and a half away so we wanted to go see. It's 8am and mommy and i are already getting in the car for a day out, my outfit wasn't a little space outfit too much, it felt small enough without the world looking at me like I'm strange. Getting into the car we plugged in the aux and started our day out, it was nice to get away from the community for a bit. School was great and Sophia hasn't really talked to me though Max felt bad but it's okay, staring at the trees whizzing by i felt so peaceful sitting next to Leslie ~~time skip~~ Pulling into a parking lot we went to go walk the streets, there was a lot of buildings and I loved everything here, we went inside stores and spent quality time together. I really liked having a day where I'm not little and just enjoying this moment of us together, starting to get hungry I asked her if we can stop and get food but she said soon. Walking out of the store we had bought a couple more items for the house and dogs, secretly though I bought Leslie a new ring. She loved rings and looking through these stores I had found the perfect one without her noticing, the sub was going to set soon and I was gonna get hangry if this women didn't drive us to food though I noticed she seemed very very excited. Was getting food that exciting, getting into the car is she grabbed something from behind the seat and blind folded me, "Les, what's this about?" "Be patient Love, I have a surprise for you" "Okay okay as long as we get food" "Yes we will what do you want" "Pizza" "Alright, but you need to stay blindfolded while we stop and get pizza, half cheese and half pineapple?" "Yep" "Gross I don't know how you like pineapple" "Oh shut up, it's actually quite good, you stick to your plain cheese", we both laughed and I felt us pull to a stop, "Alright I'm gonna go run in and get the pizza" "Okay, dont go hitting on the cashier", hearing the door shut I waited patiently, she left the car on so I was jamming out to the radio before I heard her come Into the car. That pizza smells delicious i want it so bad, "No touching Lilah, we're almost to a place I want to take you" "Okay fine but it smells so good", listening to the music i could feel us going up a windy steep road. Hoping she's not out to kill me or something, feeling us stop I felt the blindfold get taken off and I was met with the most beautiful View ever,

Getting out of the car with the pizza I stared at the sight as Leslie got blankets and it seems like a gift basket. Helping her lay out the blanket we started eating our pizza, cuddling together while watching the sunset, "Babe, i got you something", turning my head i saw her move a white basket in front of me, looking inside of it is I saw a whole bunch of goodies. It had candy, pairs of earrings, scrunchies, Hair clips, some new perfume, and in the middle a box, opening up the box I was met with a bracelet that had Disney charms. It looked so cute, setting it down I ran back to the car and grabbed her ring I hid in one of my bags, giving the tiny box to her she opened it and i swear she almost cried, "Les, why are you almost in tears, it's just a simple ring" "Because Baby, this is the best gift I've ever gotten from a significant other, do you like your bracelet?" "Yes, i love it, i guess we both got each other gifts", nodding she cuddled me closer to her and we spent the rest of the time eating pizza and candy and watching the sun eventually the stars. Feeling content we wrapped everything up and put it back inside the car "Les we've been out all day, what about the dogs?!" "Oh don't worry Angel, i got it covered, I had Ryan stop by three times today to let them out" "Okay thank god", letting my eyes wander i saw her new ring proudly sitting on her finger,smiling to myself I curled up on the seat feeling tired while she drove and fell asleep watching the city fall behind us and the empty fields surround our car ~~time skip~~ "Baby we're home, cmon let's get inside and head to bed" nodding I groggily got up and slipped my hand into Hers, feeling the elevator take us up. Entering the house I felt two dogs run me over, giggling at them both licking my face, "Alright Alright dogs, let her breathe", getting picked up by Leslie, she cradled me in her arms and took us to her room, taking my shoes off and Hers, both of us cuddled into her bed, the dogs taking up a decent amount too. "I love you baby, thank you for spending the day with me, it was a pretty good date" "I love you too, and mommy, you don't have to say thank you because I'd do anything to spend the day with you", with that response I drifted off into sleep with her arms wrapped around me and the dogs close by and also yes S'mores game and joined eventually. I guess he got bored being left out of the snuggle party...
AUTHORS NOTE: I really wanted a chapter where it's when Delilah's big and they both spend quality time together, sorry for the short chapter but I wanted this little scene to get added in♥️
