At the crime sceneEveryone knew they weren't allowed to meddle as Gulf worked the scene. He liked his peace and quiet, the silence helped him pick up on anything others might miss.
He stepped out of the van and gathered his equipment, he looked at Mild who nodded back at him and walked over where everyone was. Gulf watched as he told them something and everyone within the scene took a step back and left them alone.
He walked past Mild into the room, thankful his friend always knew what to say to them and it allowed him work without all the noise. He breathed in allowing the scent of lavender to calm his heartbeat. New scene, new victim, find the culprit, he thought to himself.
As he walked in he was hit first by the strong scent of bleach. He noted down it was stronger than in the other victims, he paused, something went wrong. He took pictures of the scene around him and scanned the room , the abandoned building was no where near the other crime scenes. He obviously scouted for these places.
After examining the surrounding area , he walked up to the body. She was beautiful, and young. She couldn't have been more than 20, a university student? If her glassed over eyes weren't staring back at him he would've of thought she was sleeping. He glanced at her cheeks the bruise on her cheek proving him right. Something had gone wrong.
He crouched next to the body and touched the bruise lightly with his gloved hand, he did a quick measurement with his thumb and noted down the color, location, size of the bruise. He took a picture. He looked down at her and noted the gently placed Rose in her mouth.
The contrast of the messy scene to the gentleness and beauty of the victim was drastic. The killer, he thought, must think this is an honor for them, to die for his cause. He felt anger heat up his blood and shook his head. No Gulf, cold and collected. No feeling involved. He smirked at his mantra.
Just like in the previous scene he felt like suddenly someone was watching him. He stood up slowly and looked around the room. Only the area where the victim was propped was lit. The rest stayed hidden in shadows.
After a minute, he crouched by her body again and slowly lifted and turned her body. The 4 dots weren't there. He frowned, no this was definitely the same person, Gulf was sure of this. He began examining her body bit by bit taking pictures along the way, when he reached her wrist he saw it. The 4 dots. He moved locations? Why? Does he know we know?
He lifted the wrist to his face, someone inhaled, he turned to look at the shadows.
"Are you done yet or do you plan to do the autopsy here as well" said an annoyed Mew. Gulf ignored him and continued to look around the room. Could he be here? Watching? Was his imagination acting up? He felt his heartbeat speed up. Was this person watching him just like the one who murdered his parents.
Mew watched Gulf ignore him and look around the room, he saw his face slightly pale, instinctively he walked towards him and grabbed his arm "What's wrong!?"
Gulf felt like he had been electrocuted. He pulled his arm away from him instantly. His face cold and distant " Don't touch me" he warned. Mew was taken aback by the anger in which the words were spoken "What is your problem Kanawut?"
Gulf looked at him. He felt the panic he had experienced a second ago subside and be replaced by something different. He didn't like that either. He kept a straight face, and walked past him. As he was reaching the door Mild walked in to check on things, he didn't realize Mew had comed in. He saw how tense Gulf looked and knew something was up.
" What's wrong?" He asked as he touched his arm. Mew narrowed his eyes. Okay so he can be touched just not by me? The fuck. Gulf nodded to Mild nothing else and walked off. Mild turned and asked " Did something happen?"
"He looked pale for a second so I grabbed him to ask what was wrong, than he got all upset" he exclaimed while looking around the room. What had Gulf seen? " You touched him? " Mild asked , the tone catching Mew's attention.
"Yeah what's the big deal?" Mew asked annoyed, it's not like I was going to dirty him or something geez. Mild took a step forward " Mew, you may not know this but Gulf doesn't like to be touched. In fact he hates it" he shook his head and walked off.
He hates it? What who hates a simple touch?? Why was he being so dramatic. Saint touched him! Mild touched him! This was ridiculous. He looked around the room one last time and walked off.
In the shadows
He smiled as he noticed Gulf realizing he had moved the dots, he chuckled, I knew he would get it. He watched as he checked the body anticipating the moment he would find them. He saw him pause. He was so excited he had almost melted when he had seen Gulf smile at his work, apparently he liked the bruise on her face.
He watched as Gulf lifted the wrist to his face, he was shocked by the action, he inhaled deeply as he felt himself grow harder. He saw as Gulf looked back at the shadows. Yes baby I'm here, waiting for you, I did all of this for you.
He's thoughts we're suddenly interrupted "Are you done yet or do you plan to do the autopsy here as well" called the voice. Who the fuck was that? He watched as Gulf tensed, then he saw him go pale. Anger surged through him. Who was this? Gulf obviously did not like him, he even paled because of him!!
He froze as he saw the man approach Gulf and grab him. His angered tripled.Who the fuck was this! Why was he interrupting their moment! Why was he touching him! He bit his lip so hard it began to bleed. He heard Gulf speak , felt the anger in his words. That's right baby you tell him! No one is allowed to touch you! Just me!
He watched Gulf walk off upset and felt like killing the intruder right there and then, how dare he disrupt his love letter? How dare he touch what is not his? He glared at him as he watched him look around the room while Mild spoke to him. His anger began to subside. It's okay he thought, now he knows he'll never touch him again. As he watched the man walk off he smiled, blood staining his teeth. If he does touch him, he'll just have to die, the thought made him giddy.
