Adira's Room

The sun is slowly peeking from the mountains. For some, it'll be time to start with work and yet she's back in her room to sleep.

As she opened the door, she saw a familiar figure standing in front of an empty wall.

She's just too tired to mind him. "Once you're finished staring at my wall, close the window when you leave. I can't sleep with the sun rays hitting my eyes", Adira dropped onto her bed without changing her clothes.

"What a carefree attitude", Law clicked his tongue. He walked towards the window.

"Say, are you leaving a curse in my room?", Adira asked with her eyes closed.

"I don't find any reason to answer you" he already stepped into the window pane.

"It's my room now. You cannot just do what you like with it", Adira burrowed her face into the pillow. "Tell that to someone else, I'm a pirate", Law smirked. "You have nothing to steal from me", Adira clarified. "It's my sister's old room. I was just visiting for the last time", Law finally explained. "Did she leave anything behind? When I came here, it was already redesigned like this", Adira tilted her head and looked in Law's direction. The sun rays are irritating her eyes but she just can't take her eyes away from his silhouette. Still wearing his white gown, she visualized the last time she saw Franken. It was also an unforgettable dawn.

"I don't think there's anything else left here that she owns instead the room itself", Law looked at the lady lying down on the bed.

Brother, it hurts.

"And even if there is. She's no longer around to take it back", he said before disappearing once more.

Prison Ward

Cari woke up early to visit her new station.

"A woman!!!", the pirates cheered. The hospital staff as well as the interns flinched at the noise they are making.

"I'm hungry", Cari heard a whine coming from the inner cell. She walked further than everyone and used her lamp to see who was talking. She dropped her lamp.

"Did something happen?", Apple rushed to check on her along with the guards.

"A...p..p..polar.. bear. It's talking", she said in mixed excitement and confusion.

"Its a mink, Intern Cari. They're a race in the grand line. They have the same body as animals but have consciousness like a human", she explained.  "Amazing. It's my first time to see one", Cari went closer and saw how white his fur is. "Can I touch it?", she asked as if asking to touch a rabbit in a cage. "He's a pirate, Intern Cari. We don't know what he will do", Apple said with concern.

"Ah. I wish Captain will just save me", Bepo complained remembering how Penguin and Shachi left him when being pursued by villagers after Bepo ate their crops.

The rest of the interns proceeded to listen to the Head Nurse's instructions regarding the needs of each prisoner. Cari stayed in front of the bear. "Aren't you going to follow them?", Bepo shyly asked. "It's fine. They'll just be identifying those that should be tended and those who were labeled for the death penalty", Cari held onto the iron bars. "And... you don't have to know those", Bepo tilted his head.

"A doctor's task is to heal anyone no matter who the person is. The World government gave us the permission to do what we choose to as long as we understand certain pirates here will just be sentenced to death after being tended", Cari explained. "Sounds so foolish", Bepo said straightforwardly. He realized what he said. "I'm sorry", he apologized right away. Cari chuckled. "Right, it's kind of foolish", Cari remembered Adira's words.
