"Opps! It's time for their bedtime story", Cari looked at her watch.

"Then, I'll be off. See you again later. Dr. Trafalgar. Adira, take care of him for me", Cari waved goodbye and then left.

"Bedtime story?", Law asked.

"She's assigned to the children's ward. She insisted on creating healthy sleeping habits for the children to grow faster. She tells stories and encourages them to sleep", Adira explained. "What a taxing job", Law commented. Adira looked at Law's doctor pin. "Are you really a new doctor transferred here?", Adira furrowed her brow.

"You should be worried about talking like that to your superior", Law looked down at the shorter lady. For some reason, Adira felt extreme discomfort with his presence.

Soldier's Ward

"Doctor. Thank you for your hard work", the marine and navy greeted her with cheer.

"Oh, we have a new doctor?", the head nurse stationed for the soldiers asked for the nurse to line up. "We weren't notified. We apologize for not being able to prepare", the nurse bowed low. Adira, at this point, is already suspicious. Why is it that no one is asking for his identification?

"Arghh!", one of the patients screamed in pain. Adira was quick to check on his vitals.

"Prepare to move him to the surgery room", she instructed.

"Close the curtains", Law walked past through the crowd circling the area.

The nurse did as was asked. "No one should peek in", he glared at them which made them all gulp and nod. After some time, he went out of the curtain. Adira entered right away and saw the soldier already feeling well. "How do you feel?", Adira asked. "I felt better. That new doctor is really amazing", he commented. "I'll be moving you to the scanning room just to check your organs", Adira wasn't convinced. "He's just fine. Move on with other patients", Law assured.  "You didn't wear gloves. There are no signs of blood. He's having an internal hemorrhage. You couldn't have addressed the hemorrhage without cutting him", Adira lost her cool and calm image.

"Trust me, young lady. I know what I'm doing", he smirked.

Adira bit her lip. "I'm not a young lady. I am an intern at this hospital. I need to bring you to the head director to have your identity checked", Adira crossed her arm.

"Hey, what's happening here?".

"She might be embarrassed because someone better came out of nowhere".

"I'm not embarrassed. Who knows this guy is also a pirate who infiltrated this hospital", Adira looked straight into onyx eyes. "You can be cutely scared at times, Dr. Adira. There's no way the guards would be outrun by just puny pirates", the marine soldiers said with confidence. Her eye twitched and looked at the tall man in front of her.

Head Director's Office

"What's the matter, Intern Myer?", Dr. Moore blinked a few times as two figures stood in front of them.

One, an intern and a stranger.

"We're supposed to be with Adira but she's too pissed off to tag along", Cari explained. "She wanted to verify Dr. Trafalgar's identity", Cari presented the man like a gift. Dr. Moore wore his eyeglasses and fell off his chair.

"Head?", Cari peeked to check on the old man who fell on his butt. "Ah, it's surprising to see a fine young man. "Intern Myer, would you mind leaving us for a moment", Dr. Moore slowly sat down again. "Would you like me to prepare two cups of coffee?", Cari raised her hand. "I'll have it later. There are some things I need to discuss with Dr. Trafalgar", Dr. Moore looked into his pin.
