"I'll be back".

Adira Wright's Room

Interns were given individual rooms on the top floors of the giant townhouse building for easier access once an emergency case happens.

The lady finished taking a bath. As she stepped out of the bathroom, she saw an unfamiliar face standing in front of an empty wall. The person seems to be lost in thoughts having Adira the chance to pick up her transporter snail to notify the hospital guard.

As soon as she reached it, a long sword sliced it into two.

"If you don't want to get hurt, don't cause any ruckus", the unknown man warned with his husky voice.  The lady held tight to her towel wrapped around her.

Soon, the man faced her direction his expression changed as soon as she saw the amber-haired lady with hazel eyes.

"Lami?", he said with a shocked expression.

Could there be a possibility that she survived that time?

"Is that you?", with a hint of suspicion, Trafalgar Law, the captain of the Hearts Pirates pulled her by the arm. "You got the wrong person", Adira said trying to pull her arm back. They heard footsteps from outside. They knocked on the door. Adira wore a coat and opened it for the guards who have panicked and looked at their faces.

"Pardon our intrusion. There's a report of some suspicious men walking around the hospital. We caught some of them. It seems that they belong to a notorious pirate crew", they reported. "Notorious pirates, you say", Adira looked at the man wearing a yellow hoodie with a disturbing happy face in the middle. In addition to that, the signature fluffy added to his distinction.

"I haven't seen someone suspicious", she slowly closed the door. "I see. We'll be patrolling over the entire building", they gave their salute. The lady just nodded and locked the door behind her.

She turn around and saw that the place is already empty. "Pirates, eh".

The NEXT MORNING...

Way to the Dock

Large Flying Carriage

"Are you excited to see your parents again?", Cari raised cheering pom-poms. "Doctor Cari, we will miss you", they hugged her at the same time. "Yes, yes. Remember everything I said about mushrooms and the like", she reminded.

"Yes, doctor. Someday, I also like to be a doctor", one of the children raised her hand. "That's good to hear", Cari patted his head.

They are heading closer to the dock. She felt nausea and covered her mouth. "Do you feel sick? Doctor?", the children were worried. "I'm fine. I was just acting", she nervously chuckled. As she looked down on the wide open sea, she felt a familiar fear. "Wah! It's the sea. Erin, look. It's blue like the sky", the children tried to encourage the child who's got a phobia of the ocean. "No, I don't want to go there", she cried. As said in the report, she saw a huge sea king while riding a transport ship heading to North Blue.

"Neh. Doctor. The sea is so beautiful, right?", they tried to add Cari to their plan to convince Erin not to be scared of the ocean.

Cari gave a weak smile.

"The Ocean might be quite scary", she patted Erin's head.

"Doctor, you're not helping at all", they suddenly whined.

"But, you have this wonderful friend with you", Cari added and gave light to Erin's eyes.

DOCK

The children are waving like crazy as they boarded the ship. Cari held unto the unused tranquilizer in her pocket. Soon, she can no longer see the children.

"Oh, there's a lot of shells here", the staff were enjoying playing with the small waves reaching the shore. "Miss Dr. Myer, come and join us", they called for her. She looked at her watch and shrugged. She went down.

For the first time in 5 years, she decided to feel the sand and the ocean water with her bare feet. "Look, it's a brown shell", one of the staff picked. Not far from their area, Cari saw some people playing in a distance. "I'll just go further", she left the staff.

Near a Cave

Cari peeked and saw people wearing broiler suits making sand castles. There was a huge rock hiding her small frame.

"Captain is sure taking his time", a polar bear complained sitting down on a  rock.

Cari gasped and stepped back. Hearing giggles, she peeked once more. "They look like they're having fun", Cari chuckled.

"They sure do", she heard someone reply. It was a manly voice. As she looked behind, her heart started to race and her eyes suddenly turned heart. "A hot guy", she didn't hesitate to say. Looking down at her wearing a short white coat, Law guessed she was working at the hospital.

"What's your name?", Cari asked in a high-pitched voice.

"It's not for you to know", he walked passed through her.

"Prepare to submerge. We'll be moving our ship", Law instructed.

"Aye, Captain", the polar bear gave a salute and went to give him a tight hug. Cari nearly fainted at how adorable they looked.

Hospital- Rooftop garden

"I heard my daughter's internship was lessened to one. As expected from my daughter", a coffee- brown haired goofy-looking guy entered the scenario disturbing the peace of the green-haired doctor having his meditation.

"Are you here to boast around?", Galen Myer opened his eyes and saw Franken Wright a few inches away from him. Galen punched him right away sending him rolling on the ground. "That's my nose, you idiot", Franken winced in pain.

"Quit goofing around. We're getting older and so are our daughters", Galen furrowed his brow. "Oh. Come on. I wonder how come you're a father of a sweet loving Cari", Franken pouted. "I heard you picked a fight with the Head. Stop sticking your nose with the businesses of the mundane", Galen clicked his tongue.

"You're really heartless, aren't you?", Franken chuckled.

Cafeteria

"Hear me. He really looks stunning", Cari was on cloud nine while stabbing the broccoli with her fork. Adira looked at the pitiful green vegetable. "I heard pirates had infiltrated this place. Don't let your carefree attitude get you into trouble", Adira warned.

"Pirates? What would pirates do in this country?", Cari hummed.

"This place is one of the richest in all North Blue. Since it is more advanced with medicine, the noble tend to get medical attention here", Adira explained. "Not to mention celestial dragons visiting every now and then", Cari sighed.

"Is this seat empty?", someone caught their attention.

Startled with different reasons, both of the ladies stood from their seats.

"What are you doing here?".

"Oh, you're the guy from a while ago".

With all cautiousness, Adira looked at her surroundings and see if there are other unfamiliar faces. Seems like he came alone. "Adira, he's the one I'm talking about. He's wearing a doctor's coat. Could it be that you're a new doctor?", Cari's eyes turned into a heart shape. Law sat opposite Adira who was still on guard.

"Don't worry. If there's someone who should be more cautious, it would be me", Law dug into his food as if he were just eating in a restaurant. Cari was emitting a bright aura. "Oh, You have a pin. Tra- Dr. Trafalgar. Nice to meet you, I'm an intern. My name is Cari", she swayed from left to right.

"Don't be so cold. With your hair and eyes like Lami mixed with such a cold attitude, it just doesn't make sense", he looked straight into her hazel eyes.
