1 year after

Marine Ford-Clinic

"You're doing great as always", Sengoku peeked at the room and saw young doctors tending the wounded.

"Lucky us. We get to be treated by a young caring beautiful doctor", one of the soldiers melted looking at the long green-haired lady. "Stop drinking sake for a while. It'll hamper your wounds from closing", she smiled and removed her gloves. She threw it in a trashcan nearby.

"If you're done with the sewing, come with me", a stern voice made her feel surprised. She gave a weak smile and followed after the tall man.

Cari looked around the thick wall of Marine Ford. It's too controlling that somehow felt suffocation. A few months ago, doctors from Flevance were requested to continue their training at the Marine Ford. The lady agreed right away since the place was a lot closer to the Holy Land.

"It's been a year since Adira went to the Holy Land. Have you heard any news from her?", Cari asked politely. Even if he was her father, they were a great gap between the two as a result of being apart for quite a long time. "She's not allowed to send out letters. What is in the Holy Land is something we have no idea of", Galen looked straight at the corridor. "I see", she sighed.

Meeting Room

"You are assigned as a new Warlord. You are to follow the rules", Akainu twitched his eye looking at a member of the Worst Generation.

Knowing that his presence is not quite accepted in the place, the new warlord grabbed his sword and stood up. As long as they don't clash along with what they want, it'll be fine. "Then, what would you be doing from now on?", Akainu crossed his arms and gave him a remorseful look.

"It's not going against your ideals so you don't have to be wary of a pirate like me", Law said with a smirk.

Corridor

As soon as Law went out, a familiar figure was walking in his direction with an older man beside her wearing a doctor's lab gown.

"Dr. Trafalgar!", Cari exclaimed.

Law was startled to hear his name. "Tra-", Galen looked at Law with a serious look.

"Isn't he the new Warlord?", Galen furrowed his brow. "Yeah. Officially, today", Trafalgar walked passing through them.

Cari had a heart shape in her eyes still fangirling over the pirate.

"Wait", Galen turned to look at the slightly taller man. He's wearing a white dotted hat. "Trafalgar Law", he called him out. Law faced him with a scary look on his face. He is always looking rough but he doesn't feel good this time. "During the Amber Lead Syndrome, there was only one person who survived. The boy who should have died at the age of 13 is now alive and kicking. Plus, that person rose into being one of the Warlords", Galen narrated his story. "You're quite informed of who I am", Law shifted his head to have a better look at him.

"I understand that you no longer remember me. You're still young when we're training under Dr. Moore", Galen's stern look suddenly softens. "I am sorry for what happened to your parents. They're both exemplary as doctors", he commented. "You have nothing to apologize for", Law bit his lip and started to walk away. "Dr. Moore treated you father and us like his son, he must have thought of you as his grandson as well", Galen faced the other direction and went on his way as well.

Cari, who was left in the middle, was confused about what are they talking about. She caught her father with her face looking at the grumpy-looking Law after opening such a topic.
