"Just try not to worry about it," Jisoo said after Rosé told her what was going on. "Not tonight, anyways."
They were in the car, on the way to whatever event they were going to. Rosé wasn't in the best of moods. Lisa had ruined any and everything she had going for her.
"It's a bar," Joy said, "Maybe you could drink your feelings away?"
"Which bar is it?" Rosé asked.
"Cicada," Taeyong said.
The younger girl gave him a small nod. "Great," she said, quietly.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"Nothing," Rosé gave him a reassuring smile.
Taeyong decided not to question it. He was lucky Rosé even got out of bed today. He didn't want to ruin her night by pestering her with questions.
Their driver stopped in front of the club, and there was already a crowd of people there. Some were fans, wanting to get in, some were celebrities walking inside, and the rest were paparazzi.
Rosé's heart rate went up. Jisoo could tell she was nervous, so she grabbed her hand.
"Don't answer any questions," her older sister said.
Rosé nodded her head as their chauffeur opened the door to the backseat. Taeyong got out first, follow by Joy, Jisoo, then Rosé.
"Is that Roseanne Park?!"
Rosé silently cursed to herself.
"Rosé!" a paparazzi shoved a camera in her face. "Are you and Jennie on a break?!"
"Is she coming later?! Why aren't you with her?!"
"Did she break up with you?!"
Taeyong pushed Joy and Jisoo in front of him, and grabbed Rosé's arm. He quickly took her inside the club, trying to get her away from the questions as fast as possible.
"Sorry," he apologized to her.
"It's not your fault," she straightened out her clothes. "I need a drink."
She walked away from the group and made her way to the bar. She sat down on a stool and ordered a shot. She ran her hand through her hair, leaning on the counter.
"Hey, pretty lady."
The voice made Rosé jump. She turned to see Lucas beside her. "Hey, Lucas," she said, then turned her attention back to the bartender.
Lucas pouted. "Rough day?"
"Rough week," Rosé said as the bartender sat her shot in front of her.
She quickly took the shot, then slid it back to the guy behind the counter.
"You know, I don't think she wanted to do it," Lucas said.
Rosé gave him a bitter chuckle. She shook her head, looking up at the entrance. She then wished she hadn't. Her face had a look of disbelief on it.
Lucas followed her eyes and his jaw dropped. "Oh, my God."
Kai had walked into the bar. Only he wasn't alone.
"She's not even supposed to be here," Rosé said, "especially not with him."
Kai turned his head and made direct eye contact with Rosé. He gave the girl a smug smile and winked at her. It was almost like everything was in slow motion. Like it was a movie or something.
Kai then nudged Jennie on her side, telling her to look as well. Jennie looked in the direction he told her to, and saw Rosé. She had an unreadable expression on her face.
Jennie looked Rosé up and down, then turned her attention back to whatever was in front of her.
"Ouch."
Rosé looked and there was Lisa beside her. Lucas gave the older girl a glare.
"I never thought I would see them together again," Lisa raised her eyebrows, then looked at Rosé. "It's gotta sting a little; no?"
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Lucas snapped.
Lisa only shrugged, getting off of the bar stool. "I'll see you on the flip side, Little Red."
The younger girl smirked at Rosé as she walked off.
"Rosé—"
The red headed girl held up her hand. "I'll talk to you later, Lucas."
She left the bar and went to the dance floor to try and find Jisoo, or Joy, or Taeyong. She just wanted to find someone, and leave.
"Excuse me," she pushed through the crowd of people.
Someone grabbed her by her arm, yanking her backwards. She let out a yell, as they pulled her into their body.
"You're back," a familiar voice said into her ear as he practically ground against her. "And you're alone this time."
"Get off of me," Rosé started to panic, trying to get away from the man.
He placed his lips on her neck, she could feel him smile on her skin. "No," he stated.
Rosé started tearing up as she struggled against this man. "Let me go," she begged, "please."
"No."
He gripped her wrist even harder, pulling her closer to him.
"You're hurting me," Rosé tried to get her wrist out of his grip.
"I don't care—"
His body was suddenly pulled away from her. His grip on her wrist caused her to fall to the ground when he was pulled away.
"Take him out of here."
Rosé's blood ran cold. She quickly tried to get off of the floor, but someone put their hand on her shoulder, keeping her down.
"Calm down."
"Get away from me, Jennie," Rosé moved away from the girl.
"I'm trying to help you," Jennie grabbed Rosé's hand, picking her up off of the ground.
"I don't need your help," Rosé pulled her hand out of her ex's grip.
Jennie tilted her head to the side. "You clearly needed someone's help."
"Why are you still talking to me?"
"What is your issue?"
Rosé glared at her. "I know you did not just ask me that."
"I did," Jennie said. "I just got you out of an awful situation, and you have an attitude with me? What a brat."
"Who the fuck do you think you are, Jennie?"
"What are you talking about?" the older girl rolled her eyes.
All the pent up anger in Rosé had gotten the best of her. She reached and slapped Jennie across her face.
Everyone around them stopped dancing. Hell, even the music stopped. All eyes were on them.
Jennie nodded her head. She looked down at the ground, letting out a chuckle.
"Rosé!" Jisoo, Joy, and Taeyong pushed through the crowd.
"Jennie?" Lisa, Lucas, and Kai had made their way to the two as well.
Jennie looked up at Rosé. Nobody had ever seen her this angry before.
"Fine," Jennie said. "You wanna cause a scene? Let's cause a scene."
