"Rosé," Jennie shook the girl. "Baby, wake up."

Rosé groaned. "What?"

"You have to go home," Jennie said. "I have an event to go to, and I'm sure your family is going crazy without you."

"Can't I just go with you?" Rosé asked.

"I don't think you heard the last part of—"

"No, I heard it," the younger girl opened her eyes. "You're going to watch the runway show, right?"

"Yeah—"

"They'll be there, too. Just let me go with you."

"Rosé, they have seating charts planned out for this. You won't have a place to sit," Jennie watched the girl as she got out of bed.

"You have a lap, don't you?" Rosé smiled as she walked into the bathroom.

Jennie rolled her eyes. Rosé started running the shower, and Jennie's phone started ringing.

It was Lisa.

The model rolled her eyes, answering the phone.

"What?" she answered.

"Sounds like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning," Lisa teased. "How are things going with Little Red?"

"Mind your business," Jennie snapped. "Are you going to the show today?"

She was met with silence.

"Hello?"

"No," Lisa said, simply.

Jennie furrowed her eyebrows. "Why?"

"I assume Little Red is going," Lisa said. "My seat is beside yours. I won't be present, therefore she can have my seat."

"What—"

"Tell me how it goes, partner in crime."

"Lisa—"

Lisa hung up in her face. Jennie shook her head, sitting her phone down. She got up, grabbed some clothes, and made her way downstairs to take a shower.

She took a quick one and met Rosé downstairs.

"Let's go," Jennie grabbed her keys.

Rosé interlocked their fingers as they walked out of the door.

"I told Joshua you would be attending," Jennie said as they got into the car. "He said the stylist will pick something out for you, and Maeng will do your makeup."

"Okay," Rosé said.

"Lisa isn't coming, so you can have her seat."

"Why isn't she coming?"

"I wish I knew," Jennie chuckled.

The two sat in a comfortable silence as they drove to the venue. They made it to their trailer and Jennie was immediately sat down for makeup and hair.

"Hi, Roseanne," Maeng greeted the girl. "I thought you and Jennie had broken up. I haven't seen you with her in a while."

Rosé gave Maeng a sweet smile. "Don't think too much next time," she said.

Jennie giggled.

"Ouch," Maeng smirked as she continued with Jennie's makeup.

The two got ready and we're sent to go sit. There was an empty seat beside Jennie, then Rosé after Jennie, and Lucas was behind Rosé. The three engaged in a conversation until the show started.

They were only five minutes into the show when somebody finally came and sat in the empty chair beside Jennie. The model immediately tensed up. She knew the smell of that cologne.

She turned slightly to the left and made eye contact with him. Kai. She shut her eyes, taking a deep breath, and turned her attention back to the show. Across the runway she could see Taeyong, Jisoo, and Joy, staring holes into her.

God, she couldn't catch a break.

She tried her best to focus on the show until the intermission. Rosé grabbed her hand, stroking the back of it with her thumb. They sat like this until the intermission.

Rosé immediately turned to start up a conversation with Lucas again.

"How ironic," Kai said.

Jennie looked at him. "Are you talking to me?"

"Of course."

"Well, stop," Jennie faced forward.

Kai let out a low chuckle. "Why exactly do you hate me again?"

Jennie scoffed. "You know why."

"If I remember correctly, you're the one who broke up with me," Kai said.

Silence.

"Because I was boring, right?" the boy nearly laughed at her. "What a bullshit excuse. You just wanted to save yourself."

"Why would I have to save myself, Jongin?" Jennie used his real name.

"Because you're an awful person," Kai said. "You didn't want to admit it."

Jennie's head snapped towards him. "Admit what, exactly?"

"You know what."

"I don't, actually. What did I do to you that was so fucking awful, Jongin?" Jennie's voice raised.

The people around them stopped their conversations, looking at the two.

Kai gave her an amused smile. "You wanna cause a scene, huh?"

"Tell me," Jennie said. "What did I do?"

"Hey," Rosé placed her hand on her girlfriend's shoulder, but Jennie shrugged it off.

"You cheated on me—"

"You cheated on me!" Jennie stood up.

"Jennie," Lucas stood as well.

"J, sit down," Rosé grabbed her girlfriend's hand.

Jennie snatched her hand out of the younger girl's grip. "I'm sick and tired of everyone putting the blame on me for our breakup," she said.

Kai laughed at her. "What are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb," the younger girl shook her head. "You know what you did."

Kai stood up as well, towering over his ex. "I did nothing to you."

"You broke my heart," Jennie looked at him.

"Who would I even cheat on you with?" Kai asked. "Huh? Tell me that."

The model turned her head, looking at Joy from across the runway. "You tell me," she said as they made eye contact.

Kai followed her eyes, landing on Joy. His eyes widened. "Oh..."

"Oh," Jennie nodded. "That's what I thought."

Rosé grabbed her hand, pulling her back down into her seat. The older girl looked at her.

"It's okay," Rosé nodded, knowing she was about to apologize.

Kai and Joy stared at each other for a few seconds, until he decided to sit back down.

"Jennie..." he tried to get the girl's attention.

Rosé glared at him as she comforted her girlfriend. "I think it'd be best if you kept your mouth shut for the rest of this show," she said.

Kai nodded slowly, turning his attention back to the runway.

Lucas laughed. "Okay, pretty lady," he said. "Looks like you have some fire in you."
