It was the next morning and Rosé was scared to go out of her room. She couldn't bare to face Joy, or anyone else in the house. She was positive that Joy had already told Taeyong and Jisoo what she had seen the night before, and Rosé wasn't ready for the confrontation.
"Roseanne Park!" Jisoo called her sister's name. "Breakfast is ready! If you don't come out, I'll come get you myself!"
"Shit," Rosé cursed under her breath.
There was no getting out of this one. The girl reluctantly put on her house shoes, grabbed her phone, and walked into the living area.
"Good morning," Jisoo greeted her.
"Nice of you to finally join us, Rosé," Taeyong teased.
"Did you sleep well?" Joy asked.
Rosé quickly looked at her. "Yeah. I slept fine. Thanks."
"Mhm," Joy hummed as she walked by the girl.
"Did you enjoy the party?" Taeyong asked. "Sorry we left, by the way. Jisoo really wasn't feeling well and I couldn't find you at all."
"It's fine that you left. I understand how annoying Jisoo can get when she isn't feeling well."
"Excuse me?" Jisoo looked at her.
"I enjoyed it, though," Rosé ignored her step sister, sitting her phone on the counter.
"Do you think you may have enjoyed it a little too much?" Joy shaded the girl.
"I think I enjoyed it just enough, thank you," Rosé responded.
"Well, I made your favorite breakfast food to—"
All of a sudden Rosé's phone started going off.
"Girl, what the hell is going on?" Jisoo looked at her sister.
"Hell if I know," Rosé picked up her phone and saw that her twitter and instagram were going crazy.
She prayed it had nothing to do with Jennie as she opened Instagram to see what all the fuss was about. She clicked on a comment that mentioned her, and there it was.
Jennie has posted a photo of herself and Rosé when Rosé has first arrived. Jennie had Rosé's hand in her own and they both had a smile on their faces.
"Oh, my God, she didn't," Rosé whined.
"What is it?" Taeyong asked.
"Jennie posted a picture of me and her—"
"What?" Jisoo asked. "At this point, it's an obsession."
Taeyong raised his eyebrow. "Jennie wouldn't post a picture of you for no reason," he said. "What did you do?"
"Nothing!" Rosé lied.
"She's posting one picture at a time on her instagram," Jisoo said while on her phone. "Kind of like what Beyoncé does with her Roc Nation parties. Seems like Rosé's is the only one with a tag, though."
"When you guys say Jennie," Joy looked at them. "Do you mean Jennie Kim?"
"Duh, who else?" Taeyong said matter of factly.
Joy looked at Rosé with wide eyes. "What on earth?"
Rosé looked away from her and back at Jisoo and Taeyong. "She wouldn't even let me breathe last night—"
"Oh, she didn't?" Joy chuckled.
"Can you cut it out?" the older girl snapped.
"Woah," Taeyong was surprised. Joy and Rosé never got mad at each other. "What's that about?"
"Yeah, Rosé," Joy said. "What is that about?"
"Joy, I swear to God—"
"Does it have anything to do with last night?"
"What happened last night?" Jisoo asked.
"Nothing! Does anyone in this house know how to mind their fucking business?!" Rosé lost her cool on the three.
She huffed and walked down the hallway and into her room, slamming the door shut.
The three exchanged glances with each other.
"Who would've though I would've been the one to push her over the edge," Joy broke the silence.
"Get off her back," Jisoo said, getting up from her seat. "I'm going to check on her."
The girl went down the hallway and into Rosé's room.
"Um, knock maybe?" Rosé glared at her.
"Um, no maybe?" Jisoo sat down beside her sister. "Now, tell me what appended."
"Nothing happened."
"Seems like you forgot I can tell when you're lying," Jisoo said. "I promise I won't speak a word of it, just tell me what happened."
Rosé sighed. She knew there was no getting out of this, and if there was anyone she could trust to keep their mouth shut, it was Jisoo.
"I kissed her."
Jisoo was taken aback. "You kissed her."
"Well, the first time, yes."
"It happened twice?!"
"Lower your voice," Rosé shushed her sister. "Yes, it happened twice. I was standing in a corner, ready to go home, and she walked up to me after about an hour of not being near me. She was saying all of this stuff about how she would quit with her playboy ways if we got together, blah, blah, blah. I wanted to kiss her, so I did."
Jisoo's jaw was basically on the floor.
"Then she took me home, and after I unlocked the door I went to thank her for the ride, and we kind of made out."
"Oh, my God, Roseanne," Jisoo said, trying to process everything.
"And Jisoo, I know you guys told me to stay away from her, but I can't. She sounded so sincere when she was telling me she would change, and she's so attractive, and has an okay personality—"
"Do you like her?" Jisoo stopped her sister from rambling.
Rosé looked at her with all of the vulnerability in the world in her eyes. "I think I do."
"Then go for it," Jisoo grabbed her sister's hand. "We can't stop you from doing what you want. You aren't a kid anymore. If you think she was being sincere, take your chances. If she breaks your heart, Taeyong and I will be right here..."
"Thank you—"
"To kill her," the older girl said.
"What?"
"Nothing," Jisoo shook her head. "Now, go reheat your breakfast. We didn't slave over the stove for you to not eat it."
"Okay," Rosé got up to leave. When she opened her door, she paused. "Joy saw us make out by the way."
"What?" Jisoo looked up, but Rosé was halfway out the door.
"Bye!"
