"But I watch your eyes, as she
Walks by
What a sight for
Sore eyes
Brighter than a
Blue sky
She's got you

Rose.

She and Scorpius had started to hang out at the beginning of the fifth year, the one they were attending now. After the blond's many attempts and proposals during the past four years, the Gryffindor girl had finally accepted to go out on a date with him.

She was Scorpius' girlfriend.
And she was also Albus' cousin.

Furthermore, she was the one that helped him realise how much Albus liked Scorpius and not in the way that friends are supposed to do.

Every time he would have seen them going out on a date to Hogsmeade, or just would have held hands walking through Hogwarts' corridors with the green-eyes next to them, or Rose would only have sat with them at breakfast, Albus' stomach would have ached and he would have felt as if his soul was tearing apart, his heart itching with jealousy.

During moments like this, Albus wished he could see his face or just stand in front of a mirror to check if he was green with jealousy.

Because the more seconds passed, more the thought of Scorpius noticing how heartbroken was, scared the hell out of him.

Now Rose was just walking towards them, the history of magic books between her chest and her left arm, and Albus' eyes couldn't stop staring at Scorpius and at the look he was giving her, (forcing his heart through a brutal pain).

«She's got you mesmerised,» Albus tried to joke but his voice was weak, low.
