"But how could I hate her?
She's such an angel
But then again, kinda
Wish she were dead, as she
Walks by„

Every single day had started to become torture for Albus.

Although he tried to distance himself from Scorpius, the taller had noticed and he had immediately begged him to tell him if there was something wrong.

«Please, Al. Please» Scorpius' eyes were so mesmerising that Albus could've gazed at them longer than he would have admitted, «I'm worried. You know how much I care about you, you're my best friend. I love you».

Best friend. A dagger in the heart.

«Don't say it, Scor,» Albus' laugh was dry, weak «My cousin could be jealous».

«I don't care» he replied, «You're talking to me less and less, you hardly ever show to supper and you leave earlier when she's with us wherever we are».

He noticed. Come on Albus, now try to find an excuse. He can't find out the truth. He would never accept you and you would lose him.

«Aren't you late for your date?» Albus reasoned that maybe changing the subject was the best move to do.

Scorpius' eyes fell on the clock in their dormitory «Yeah, you're right. But this doesn't end here. I'll be right back after it and we'll discuss what's going on».

Little did he know that they wouldn't have done it. Because when he came back from his date to Hogsmeade, Albus wasn't there.

He was in the girl's bathroom, crying, hidden in a toilet. He stayed there until sunrise when he decided to go back to their bedroom and try sleep a bit before the classes of the day started.

What was hurting him the most was the fact that although how much he wished to be in Rose's place, he couldn't wish her the worst, because she was still his cousin and person.

Albus felt so sick.
