Everything precipitated when, one day, entering the great hall for breakfast, he had the sight of his best friend, his prohibited and sick crush, kissing his cousin like nothing in front of him.

He had stared at them, completely zooming out for he didn't know how long. When the green-eyed realised he had lost track of time, it was too late because Scorpius had already stood up from his seat and was staring back at him with confused, perplex eyes.

The taller didn't, couldn't, understand why his best friend had become pale like a white cloud all of a sudden.

He watched as the shorter turned and ran out of the hall, sprinting through the many students who were entering with a speed Scorpius didn't know he possessed, nor did Albus himself.

So the blond followed him through the corridors.

Until they reached the girls' bathroom.
