«Al? Are you here?»
Scorpius heard sobs coming from one of the toilets in the girls' bathroom, where he had seen Albus entering and disappearing inside.
The blond knocked at the door more than once worryingly, his heartbeats becoming faster each second.
«Al, are you okay?» what a silly question, he thought, «Albus, please. Let me enter».
He hardly ever called him with his full name.
A louder sob escaped from the brunet's lips and it hit Scorpius' right in the heart.
«I don't give a damn, I'm unlocking this door!» he shouted, fear growing bigger and bigger in his chest, «Alohomora!»
What he saw when the door opened was Albus laying, his back against the dirty wall made of wood, sat on the floor, tears streaming down his face like a river flowing through hills.
Without having to think about it twice, Scorpius kneeled in front of him, their bodies entering in contact with each other because of the little space in the toilet.
«What happened, Al?» Scorpius stroked the top of his hand, rested with his fingers, their skins touching even more and provoking thousand of shivers down the green-eyed's body. «You know you can tell me,» his caresses became higher, on his chin and then even upper on his right cheek, where the taller could still feel the tears.
«N-no, I can't». Albus sobbed, his voice lower than Scorpius had ever heard it, weaker than a leaf. «I can't».
«Yes, you can, Al,» Scorpius repeated, getting even closer to him (Albus didn't know how it was possible. His sight was blurry and what he knew was just that the blond had leant over). «You're scared and it's okay, but you can tell me. I would never judge you. Al, I love yo-»
Abruptly the green-eyed kissed him.
