Chapter 7 - A Poisoned Discovery

Day Five

October 24, 20XX, 8:23 AM, UN's Mansion, Diner Room
Japan Tokyo

The neko country was skipping down the hallway happily to the diner room, to where she assumed everyone was at.

Her cat tail and ears bounced with her as she skipped a few steps down the staircase to the main room.

She opens one of the doors and poked her head through the small opening she made, as she looked around the main room her left ear twitched a bit.

Japan gets the signal and quickly turns around to be met by another country, South Korea.

"Southy-Kun!" Japan exclaimed, wrapping her arms around South's neck and giving a small kiss on his lips.

"좋은 아침 Japan, how was your night?" South asked, a little pink could be seen on his cheeks as he petted Japan.

"It was great! Although the manga I read recently was so sad, you should read it sometime!" Japan answered, going from sad to happy as if she was bipolar.

"Alright, I'll be sure to read it tonight. In the meantime, how about we go to the diner room and get breakfast?" South asked, smiling warmly at his lover.

Japan smiled more and soon lets go of South and opens the door, jumping up and down excitingly.

South Korea chuckled lightly at how active his wife can be, but thats one of the many things he loved about her.

He soon nodded his head as they went into the main room, towards the diner room where they could see a few other countries enter as well.

When they sat in their seats next to each other, Japan began talking about mangas she had read over the past few days.

It made the other smile, glad and happy that his love was actually okay.

"Hey Japan?"

Japan stopped her rambling about a certain manga, and moved her attention towards South.

"Yes, South-Kun?"

He hesitated before asking "Who do you think could be the murder..?"

Japan paused for a moment, before her light pink eyes darted around to see if anyone was watching or listening. When it was clear, she leaned towards him.

"I think it might be EU-San..." She whispered, looking skeptically at EU, who was chatting happily with UN.

South slightly flinched from the sudden quietness since Japan is usually loud and happy. He looked over to where she was staring and trying to think why she would think it was EU.

"Why EU?"

Japan looked over to South and raised an eyebrow at him as one of her hands gestured towards EU. Her expression was like 'really?'.

South was still confused and asked "What?" Japan then sighed as she placed her hand back on the table.

"It's just... Don't you think Trader is similar to the word Traitor? I mean, I might be looking far too deep but haven't you noticed something... Off, about him?" Japan said, slightly pointing towards EU, furrowing her eyebrows and her ears drooping.

South Korea gave another glance towards EU, but then realizes he had been staring at them with a confused expression when he saw Japan pointing towards him.

South coughed to get Japan to notice, to which she did and gave EU an apologetic look, to which he smiled at us and turned back to UN.

She sighed in relief as she turns back towards South, having a serious look on her face which made South flinch slightly.
