I wasn't getting any better in my Math work so all other subjects were put aside, and I only was to focus on math.
An email came from Uyu about the play. Things were coming along, and he sent me copies of the first draft lines. The words were perfect and inspiring. The writing club wrote a paper on the new play. I got copies of that as well. That night I wept. I hated how I couldn't be a part of what I was so passionate about.
Today mom gave me the departure papers from school. I have been out for two weeks and she hasn't filled them out yet. That's when I remembered I still had a few things in my locker at school. That's when I had an idea. I went out to the kitchen where my whole stack of books was. Along with the answer keys. My mom was out doing food shopping with my dad, and so I decided to fill out as many math tests as I could with the correct answers. This was cheating but I wasn't going get any of them right anyway. Then I did the same for my other textbooks. My folder with completed work was already full of things that needed to be graded. But I added to it then put everything away just in time.
My parents came home, and I offered to make dinner. I made a cheesy dish of baked ziti. This had everyone in a good pleasant mood. So this is when I asked if I could go in the morning to drop off my departure papers for the school records and clean out my locker. They agreed to it.
