Avneet's pov,
Today I woke up a little late as I was having a headache. I was descending the stair with my younger sister when I heard dad's voice, he was asking about us.
At the dining table,
"Where are our two princesses..??" Dad asks mom while sitting on his chair.
"They... They are here."Mom replies while looking at both of us.
"Good morning." We both wish them and takes our seat.
"So both of you have your breakfast quickly, otherwise it will be late and then Anu it's the first day of your college today.Dad says while I pour some juice for myself in a glass, and Anu nods.
"What is this Anu..??What are you wearing..? You will go to college in this type of clothes or what..??" Mom shouts upon my lil sis.
"Not again, I don't want to see their drama today also. I'm already having headache and their regular fights are just frustrating." Avneet speaks in her mind.
"Why mom.. this is also nice I think," Anu says to mom while hesitating as she knows that mom doesn't like this type of clothes.
I forget to tell our mom, doesn't like my lil cute sis dressing sense as she always loves to wear traditional clothes.
"Good ?? these..??" Mom was going to scold her when dad cuts her sentence in betweenand stops mom from scolding her.
Thank God dad saved her or else mom had no plan of leaving her from scolding.
"Why are you behind her to change her dress, it's okay she is looking nice in it.. dear, you don't pay attention to your mom's words and listen to me... You're looking very pretty." Dad tells Anu and she nods slightly. Mom spoiled her full mood on her first day of college.
We all start eating our breakfast when dad gets a call from his office. After attending the call he looks toward Anu and says.
"Anu dear... I'm sorry I can't come to complete formalities with you in college today .... Actually, an important meeting of mine had come so..." Dad says while looking towards Anu whose face fell.
"It's okay dad... Your meeting is important, I will handle myself only..." Anu says while being mature when dad cuts her in between.
