We woke up late this morning, it was already lunchtime. It was warm and sunny and an orange hue covered our camp. We spent the rest of the day doing nothing. Until the sun began setting and Sokka set off to find dinner.

Sokka arrived back at camp with momo and a bag,

"Great, what's for dinner?" Aang asked,

Sokka began to look through his bag, "first, round nuts, and some kind of oval shape nuts. And some rock shape nuts, that might just be rocks."

Katara, Aang and I looked at each other,

"Seriously, what else you got?" Katara said, Sokka began to rummage through his bag again, I leaned in to help him look.

When all of a sudden we heard a large bang, it caused me to drop my handful of nuts,

"Ahh, nuts!" I said, everyone giggled then we heard the bang again,

"It's coming from over there!" Aang said as he grabbed my hand and began running in the direction of the noise, I heard Katara grunt behind me,

"Are you alright, Katara?" I asked,

"Yep, just fine." She said bluntly, I was starting to think Katara didn't like me.

We arrived at a log and we peered over it, there we saw a boy around Kataras age earthbending large boulders into the surrounding rock walls.

"An earthbender!" Katara said,

"Let's go meet him!" Aang said with a smile,

"He looks dangerous, so we better approach cautiously." Sokka said, I noticed Katara jump up, I tried to stop her but she shrugged me off.

"Hello there, I'm Katara, what's your name?" Katara said cupping her hands around her mouth. The boy turned to us with a worried look and began running away, he bent tons of boulders to shield the pathway.

"Nice to meet you!" Aang yelled after him,

"I just wanted to say hi?" Katara said disappointed.

"Wait, that guys gotta be running somewhere, probably to a village that mea-" I started but was cut off by Katara,

"That means no nuts for dinner!" She said,

I smiled at her, she returned it. Maybe she doesn't hate me. We began running.

"Hey! I worked hard to get those nuts!" Sokka groaned, I couldnt hear the rest of his sentence.

We followed the direction of the boy into a village, just as I thought. But theres a problem, the village is crawling with fire nation settlers. I looked at Aang with a worried expression. He raised an eyebrow, I made a motion to my arrow and he realised,

"Ohhhh." He said as he face palmed. We ran to a man selling hats and quickly used what little money we had to buy one for Aang, i just used my sash.

We found Katara talking to the boy and his mother and found out that the fire nation arrests all earth benders and steals the villagers money while they use their mines to fuel their ships. I saw Sokka check the blinds of the shop,

"Fire nation act natural!" He said, everyone ran around and got into very unnatural positions. I stood in a barrel eating a berry, I have no clue why I did that. Turns out the fire nation was just here to steal more money. I felt terrible, there had to be something we could do.

Haru lead us to a large barn,

"Here my mother said you can stay here for the night." He said opening the doors.
