~ 3 days later ~

Taehyun sat at his reception desk scrolling through his computer calmly as he did his job. As usual, it was a regular day for him. He was doing his typical routine of answering phone calls, taking appointments, and most importantly, anxiously looking up from his desk every time someone walked through the front door of the studio. Each time the door would swing open, Taehyun's head would shoot around to see who it was, and every time he would be disappointed that it wasn't the person he wanted to see: Beomgyu.

It had been more than two weeks since he had seen the charismatic blonde. More than two weeks since Beomgyu had come into the studio and fought with Yeonjun. Two weeks since Beomgyu had bitterly spat out, "Fuck you Taehyun," to him. Those were the last words Beomgyu had told him, and since then, Yeonjun had come to Taehyun and cleared up the suspicions he'd had over Soobin being an abuser and Beomgyu being an apologist. Needless to say, Taehyun had been shocked to hear that those theories had been debunked.

Since then, Taehyun had felt guilty over judging Beomgyu harshly, which is why he hoped every day to see him walk through the studio doors so that he could ask for forgiveness. However, that hadn't happened at all. As for Soobin, Taehyun had already seen him come to the studio once after him and Yeonjun had reconciled, so he had already apologized to him and Soobin had already forgiven him. Much to Taehyun's curiosity though, he hadn't seen Soobin back since that day.

The front door to the studio opened again, and as usual, Taehyun's head quickly peeked behind his computer screen in hopes that it would finally be Beomgyu walking through. However, he was let down once again. He smiled at the random customer passing through the lobby before sighing and frustratedly walking over to Yeonjun's office, as he needed a distraction from feeling so anxious.

"Sorry for barging in," Taehyun said as he opened the office door without warning or permission and walked in. "I just needed to-"

Suddenly Taehyun stopped as he fixated on the sight in front of him.

Yeonjun crying.

In all the time that Taehyun had worked for Yeonjun, he had never seen his boss cry. Yet there he was: hunched over his desk and trembling. Upon hearing Taehyun at his door, Yeonjun suddenly sat up, exposing his red nose and puffy eyes.

"Don't you knock? Fuck," Yeonjun said in a strained voice as he wiped his cheeks of his tears.

"Sorry, I-" Taehyun stuttered. He shifted uncomfortably, not knowing what to do before he finally stepped in and closed the door. "What's wrong, Jun?"

"What do you think?" Yeonjun mumbled softly as he sniffled. Taehyun knew what he was talking about. He knew that Yeonjun had been trying to reconcile with Soobin for a while now that the smoke had cleared, but he didn't know that it had been taking such a toll on him.

"He's still acting weird around you?" Taehyun asked, recalling how Yeonjun had told him a while ago that Soobin wasn't talking to or being affectionate with him.

"No, we're past that, Tae," Yeonjun choked out as he tried to stop the tears from flowing.

"What happened..." he asked worriedly as he took a seat in front of Yeonjun's desk.

"We had a talk a few days ago and..." Yeonjun mumbled as he tried to hold in his emotions. "And I told him that I loved him."

Taehyun gasped as he heard this. He didn't now that Yeonjun felt this way about Soobin, and he was shocked that he had admitted it to him. That and he also realized that their talk hadn't gone well if Yeonjun was sobbing in his office in the middle of the day.
