~ a few days later ~"Bin," Beomgyu said as he stood over Soobin. "Get up."
Soobin only hummed out a response before curling up even tighter in his bed and ignoring him.
Beomgyu had had enough at this point. He had been visiting Soobin everyday in the morning before going to work and every night after work to check if he was eating, showering, taking care of himself, and overall just breathing. Each day he'd let himself into his apartment after his knocks on the door would be ignored and each time he walked in Beomgyu would see the exact same thing: Soobin lying in his bed refusing to get up.
Today was no different, and Beomgyu had walked in and sighed as he saw Soobin in bed with his head of hair barely peeking out of the covers.
"Soobin," Beomgyu called out firmly as he finally gripped his blanket and pulled it off the bed hard. Soobin groaned in response before grabbing a pillow and covering his face with it.
"God, what do you need me to get up so bad for?" Soobin complained as he sprawled out over the mattress.
"Because you look like a sad fuck holed up in your room and you need to go about acting like a normal human being," Beomgyu deadpanned.
He heard Soobin groan once again and mumble something that was too muffled to distinguish in response before he sat up and looked at him.
"Why can't you just leave me be?" Soobin asked tiredly before he caught sight of something Beomgyu had at his feet.
"What's that?" he asked as he pointed at the trash bag on the floor. Beomgyu gave a small sigh before responding.
"It was in front of your door when I showed up," Beomgyu explained. "It has your clothes and a couple of other things. I think Yeonjun left it for you earlier in the morning."
Soobin stared it at for a moment with a saddened expression before dragging it closer to him.
"Bin, I don't think you should look at it right now," Beomgyu warned him as Soobin stretched the bag open. He sighed as he suddenly saw Soobin stop and stare at the contents inside.
Soobin reached in and grabbed ahold of the polaroids strewn over the top of his clothes and pulled them out, eyeing them as he felt his heart wrench for the millionth time that week. He flipped through each one slowly, heart beginning to sink as he was forced to remember the events of each one.
He decided he couldn't make himself suffer like this anymore, so he wiped the tears that had escaped his eyes and put the photos back in the bag. Soobin stood up, tying the bag tightly and walking over to place it in the corner of his room as he continued to wipe his cheeks.
"Soobin..." Beomgyu said as the taller stayed facing the corner for a moment, trembling as he cried silently. Suddenly he turned back around and walked over to Beomgyu before placing a hand on his back.
"What are you doing?" Beomgyu asked as Soobin slowly started walking him towards the door.
"I need you to go," he said raspily before Beomgyu spun around utterly confused.
"But-"
"No, Beomgyu. Leave. Please," Soobin pleaded as they stood facing each other in the kitchen. He sucked in a ragged breath before rubbing his eyes. "Thank you for checking up on me every day but no more, Beom. I just want to be left alone, so just go."
"No," Beomgyu simply replied as he stood his ground and shook his head.
"God, what the fuck do you want from me, Beomgyu? Just listen to me for once," Soobin said throwing his hands up as his brows furrowed together.
