I Feel Crap

Aria Pov

I woke up this morning feeling the most crap since chemo started so my parents decided to keep me at home and as Mason had a day off he said he would come around and keep me company which I was happy about.

I was wearing one of Ezra's oversized shirt which I kept with me at all time I felt happy wearing it and whenever my parents asked Mike said it was his.

My parents had just left from work and Mike for school. I texted the girls and told then I wasn't coming to school today and to tell Ezra I had the flu which I knew he would buy as I threw up yesterday.

I was sitting on the couch when I heard the door open I knew it Mason and the next minute he walked in. He was smiling as he walked over and hugged me. I hugged him back "Sorry I know it your day off" He just laughed "I needed some time with my favourite girl anyway" I smiled at this as he sat down next to me.

I decided to lay on Mason lap as he rubbed my head and honestly it was helping. "So did you tell your boyfriend you weren't going to be at school?" I looked up at Mason and spoke "Hanna telling him I have the flu" Mason just nodded as he understood I didn't want him to know but I was curious on what Mason thoughts of Ezra were "What do you think of Ezra?" I wanted to know his answer "He's a nice guy and I can see that he cares about you Aria and I know you care about him that is why you are protecting him" I smiled at Mason and replied "Yeah I guess it is"

It was now  a few hours later Mason and I were sitting down watching Safe Haven it a great movie one we both love when the door bell rang. I wasn't expecting anyone and knew it would be one of the girls. Even those I felt weak I had to get the door so I slowly got up and Mason did the same as I was leaning on him for support.

When we got to the door I opened it to see Hanna, Spencer and Emily there. I could see that Emily and Spencer were puzzled about who the guy was but Hanna immediately smiled "Hi Mason" This caused Emily and Spencer to look between me and the pair and for Mason to smile. Hanna been Hanna pulled him in a hug while Emily and Spencer did the same with me.

I leaned on Emily and Spencer for support to walk back in the lounge room and Mason and Hanna were talking and laughing behind me it was great to see then both happy and I think they would make a good couple.

When we got in the lounge room I introduced Emily and Spencer to Mason telling then exactly who he was.

The three girls were looking at me weirdly and both Mason and I noticed it so I finally asked "What is going on?" Spencer was the one to speak up "It's Ezra he doesn't buy that you have the flu and don't worry no one told him a thing everyone figured out the reason your away" I smiled before replying "As long as he doesn't find out everything will be fine" The girls all looked at each other then at Mason and then me before Hanna spoke " Aria he won't let this go he keeps asking us and he can tell that we are hiding something" I looked at the girls but I knew I wasn't going to tell him "No one says a word" The girls knew they wouldn't win this battle.

The talk with the girls happened three hours ago. My parents and Mike were now home talking to Mason down stairs while I was laying down in bed. I had still refused to eat and they gave up fighting me on it. I was thinking about happy memories the ones with Ezra when my phone buzzed I opened it and it revealed a text from Ezra "Hope your feeling Better Aria I really missed you today and also I know this isn't the flu" I read his text twice before replying I knew he wasn't going to give up but he couldn't know I started to type "I missed you too should be back in a few days and it is with the flu. Also I love you" I sent the text and within seconds he replied "I love you too I wish I could take care of you and make you better" When my phone buzzed I read the message and smiled but really no one could make me better I responded "I have people taking care of me but I love how much you care and you are making me better Ezra by texting me anyhow I'm going to have some sleep because I'm tired. Night I love you" I sent the text I was indeed tired the chemo was getting to me. My phone buzzed yet again "It still should be me looking after you Aria I'm your boyfriend after all. Anyhow have a good sleep I love you too" This text made my heart melt I read it and smiled before shutting my phone down so I could go to sleep
