Amelia: It was me and Daveed's third anniversary so I decided to leave work early so I could come home and decorate the house before he got off.
I took a shower then put on some red lingerie and covered myself with my black robe before going back downstairs. I decorated our living room and foyer with rose petals and pictures of us throughout the years then trailed the rose petals to the dining room as well.
When I was done setting the table, I went to the kitchen to start making our dinner.
Daveed was going to be home any minute and I was becoming incredibly anxious. Him and I haven't been able to spend a lot of time together the past few months because of our conflicting schedules but tonight was our night.
A few minutes later, I heard the front door open and shut then the crunch of the rose petals under someone's feel as they approached me. I knew it was Daveed so I continued to stir the pot on the stove as if I couldn't hear him.
"Happy anniversary Amelia." He said as he wrapped his strong arms around me from behind and moved my hair so he could kiss my neck.
"Happy anniversary baby." I said as I tried to keep my composure but just being in his arms was enough to make me melt. "Dinner is almost ready, will you grab the wine from the cooler please?"
"Of course."
I made us both a plate and brought them out to the table as he poured our glasses of wine.
He sat down and as I sat across from him, I let the tie on my robe slip so he could see what was underneath.
He ran his tongue over his bottom lip then cracked a slight smile as he looked me up and down.
He knew I wanted him badly and that's why he was going to make me wait until the very end of the night, I just knew he would.
I asked. "How was your day?"
"It wasn't too bad. Things were a little hectic on set and they wanted me to stay longer but I told them tonight was all about my baby."
"Well I'm glad you got away. We haven't been able to spend a lot of time together lately."
"I know and I'm sorry. I-"
"You don't have to apologize Daveed, we've both been super busy the past few months but we made the time for each other tonight and that's all that matters."
When we finished eating, he helped me clean up before I took him into the living room to give him the gift I got for him.
We sat down on the couch together and I grabbed the black gift bag from the coffee table.
"So I know you've been wanting this for a while and I was gonna wait til your birthday but I think now is the perfect time to give it to you."
