Three

7:30 am

That was the time I woke up. I stretched out a bit then I remembered. Today's the interview.

I got into the bathroom took a long nice hot shower to cool my muscles and stepped out with a towel wrapped around me, I picked out a cream blouse with a navy blue skirt which stopped just above my knee and black heels.

I got to the kitchen knowing that's where Hattie would be preparing a proper breakfast.

"Morning Roomie"

"Morning"

"What's for breakfast" I took a seat at the high stool.

"Egg, toast and bacon"

"Yum"

She slid a plate and a cup of coffee towards me, and I took my time to admire my friend with black slacks light blue top under her Black Blazer, her hair in a nice ponytail making her make up less face more visible.

"Stop staring"

"I can't help it you're beautiful"

"You don't need to tell me twice" she rolled her eyes but obviously fighting a smile. I shook my head and ate breakfast. "So, you ready for today?" She asked already knowing the answer.

"Nope, but hey I got to try" I gave her a smile if reassurance and dropped it.

"I'm taking you to work today"

"You don't have to"

"I insist"she smirked "besides I want to see the batcave"

"Well who am I to turn down a free ride, thanks"

There was a knock on the door no doubt who that is.

I answered it "hello Michael"

"Hi beautiful"

"Just come in"

"Breakfast. sweet"

Hattie dropped the dishes in the sink "Go find your own" and the next minute an argument started. I just shook my head at them, went back to my room to get my phone and purse and returned to them still arguing. It wasn't a suprise how they never get along with each other but I try my best to at least Keep them from killing each other. It's also amazing how they have so much in common yet they still quarel like 9 year olds.

I touched Michael's arm to get his attention, " what brings you here"

His eyes softened "I just came to wish you a good luck" he pulled me into a hug.

"Thank you"

"Let's go Thea before I leave you here" I broke away from the hug knowing that she's very capable of doing that.

"C'mon" we all stepped out.

"Wow Batman really outdid himself"

I chuckled and got out of her 2015 Toyota Camry. "Good luck"

"Thanks"

When she drove away I turned to the all glass building and got inside catching a few stares already, seriously hasn't anyone seen a Greek Hispanic before. I made my way to the front desk.

"Hey Sophia"

"Hi Thea right, wow you're early that's good"

"How are you"

"I'm good thanks, I really wish you get the job here"

I got curious "why?"

"Because all the people who came here are either blonde slutty bimbos or gay men"

"They can't be that bad"

"Oh they are, anyway let me not keep you waiting the floor of your interview is 38"

"Thank you and have a nice day" I turned around and headed to the elevator that was almost filled with other employees. I got in and pressed the 38th button and noticed there was actually 40 floors in the building, and the 40 was replaced with K. As the elevator got higher the room begin to be empty, it wasn't until the 20th floor that I was now alone with dark haired man who was about 6'0 he had nice brown eyes and was dressed in brown slacks with a black button up shirt tucked in, he was quite the looker.

"Hey" he said in a deep voice, not as deep as someone though.

"Hi"

"You new here"

"No actually I'm just here for an interview"

"As what?"

"As an assistant"

He had this look on his face "Damien Montgomery" he took his out for me too shake.

"Thea Clint nice to meet you"

"Same here. I hope you get the job"

"Me too" there was a ding sound signaling my stop.

I walked out when he said "I hope to see you around"

I nodded and walked off. there was another front desk around the corner

"I'm here for an interview" I said to a beautiful mixed woman with full in curly hair. Wo is everyone in this building hot.

She smiled "Ah yes you can wait in the next room. What's your name?" I gave her my name and she nodded. I thanked her and move on to the next room.

Jesus! It was as if Barbie was throwing some sort of party with clothes which could pass as underwear. Everywhere I looked a there was boob and faces caked with make, and there was one of them who literally did face painting with too much glitter. I took a step back and swiftly got my phone out before taking pictures, I zoomed in particularly on the glitter faced girl.

Snickering I kept my phone back and took a sit ignoring the side comments they mad about me the 'Plain Jane'

"Someone should tell vanilla over here to go back to her dumpster"

I went on Instagram tuning out the not so 'subtle and quiet' comments.

When it was 9:00am on the dot the conquest started.

Let's just say they were lots of angry faces looking like red the angry bird. I didn't even try to hide my laughter same  went for the front desk lady who was actually trying to hide it. Atimes I would even snap some photos leading to them being much angrier. I got insulted but I didn't really care.

"Keep laughing you bitch it's not like you'd do any better"

I just grinned "that's probably how your mom felt when you where born"

Ohh she was not happy. She lunched forward but stopped when my name was being called "Good luck bitch"

"Thank you" I gave her a side hug which confused and irritated her before heading towards the door. I let out a breath before knocking.
