Twelve

Twelve days in London passed by. It was all full of work and meetings, we never got time to be alone when we did was in the suite. We'd end up going to our respective rooms to tired to even utter a word.

I'm now laying on the couch after another long day. We're leaving in three days days and I'm yet to explore London even if we've already been to various cities like Liverpool, Manchester, Norway, Ireland and so on.

"Ms Clint since we're already done with all our meetings you can take the day off tomorrow by going out if you want to" this was the first time he told me something nicely.

I narrowed my eyes "really?"

"Yes" he gave a curt nod and left.

I smiled and sighed. At least I don't have to wake up at a ridiculous hour.

I rolled off the couch and changed in my room before sleeping even though it was just 8:30.

I woke the next morning surprisnly early without any disturbance. I walked around the suite in only my tank top and shorts. During the week I found a small kitchen in the suite and I asked the hotel if they could stock it since they don't serve some of the things I crave.

Deciding on chocolate chip pancakes with orange juice I connected my earbuds to my phone and played some music.

And I said
Oh Lord take my hand
Lead me to the promise Land
Oh Lord I need you now
In my heart don't let me down.

When I flipped the last one out I turned and screamed when I saw the devil by the door way arms crossed in black jeans and a navy blue polo shirt muscles bulging out.

I placed a hand on my chest and took deep breaths to calm my heart down removing my earbuds.

"You scared me"

"I apologise" he didn't even look apologetic.

I shook my head and placed our food on the counter with two glasses of orange juice. We sat together and eat in our usual silence.

"What are you doing today sir?"

"Whatever your doing"

My eyes widened.

"What do you mean"

"I'm following you were ever you go. You don't know your way around here so I don't feel like hiring a new assistant because the one I actually liked gets missing"

"You like me?" Wow

"Not the point Ms Clint"

I sang to get on his nerves"Mr Knight likes me, Mr Knight likes me "

He groaned while I chuckled.

"I'm thinking of walking around the streets and going to the mall to buy presents for Hattie and Michael"

"Michael" was that jelousy... Nope must be imagining things.

"Yes Michael. Then I want to eat at one of the restaurants and try a fancy scone"

He nodded "when you're ready we can leave"

I got up and cleared the dishes. I was about to wash them when stood beside me.

"Don't worry sir"

He didn't listen he just turned on the tap and started washing, passing it for me to wash.

I dried my hand "I'm ready to leave sir" he lead the way and we walked the streets of London. I saw double deckered busses driving around, a smile appeared to my face. I've always wanted to go to London and see everything about it. Apparently Mr Knight really knew the way around because lead me to all the tourist centers hand on my back.
