MY POETRIES - AN INSIGHT

ENDING HUMANITY

Disclaimer:- THIS IS A MATURE POEM. IT IS NOT MEANT TO HURT ANYONE'S FEELINGS BUT WRITTEN FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF EXPRESSING MY FEELINGS ABOUT SOME IMPORTANT SOCIAL ISSUES GOING ON RECENTLY AND TO SPREAD AWARENESS.

Every morning,
I stream a news show,
Numerous news,
They announce in one go.

Lately several news,
As far as I have heard,
Have something sinister or cruel,
Someone Raped,  Dead or Murdered.

Does humanity still exist?
As Rape is a common news,
Women of all ages are prey,
Even if they try to REFRAIN OR REFUSE.

Why don't people understand,
This is a inhumane,
Rapists should become infamous,
With death sentence written on their names.

It is really hard for women,
To raise up against this,
But people please try to understand,
A rape is not a bliss.

Second on the list,
Is someone brutally Murdered,
Not simply with a bullet or so,
But with every part butchered.

Then they are thrown away,
In a drain or a gutter,
Bodies found after several days,
It's remains become a rotting matter.

Some do such things for self,
Some in name of politics,
Some do it as an honour,
To save their reputations from critics.

This situation is very sad,
But if we try we can refrain,
None of us actually know,
How much going through either pains.

Also Suicide is the next thing often highlighted,
It makes me think how,
How ending our own lives helps,
It ends all the pains, I exclaim 'WOW'.

People suicide and go away,
But forget behind them are left,
Their close ones who really loved them,
Who will then live forever depressed.

Condolences, Sorrows or Tears,
Many posts or tweets to show,
I wonder where were you?
When these people were in deep sorrows.

Humanity is really ending,
Compassion, Brotherhood, Love or Trust,
As such news increase every day,
These feelings which once bloomed,
Now look rust.
