Chapter 15

Kendall POV:

There I woke up,thank goodness today I wasn't late. I looked to my side, where Faik previously laid, but now that side was empty. I grabbed the note from the side table.

Babe, I'm sure you're looking beautiful even in this sleeping state. I'm sorry, I had the shooting today or else I would've stayed and cuddled with you. Now off you go to school, I don't want you to be late and don't forget that I love you dearly.

I smiled to myself as I read the letter. I felt happy after a long time, and this feeling was quite new to me. And then I realized. My clothes weren't here nor my bag. I'm in trouble now.

I ordered an uber, fearing I might not be able to reach to my house quick if I walked up till there. I was looking like a mess, but I didn't care. I had to be at school. The uber arrived at my house and wihout thinking, I ran inside and got ready as fast as I could, and went to school.

-Time skip to school-

I didn't see jasmine in the hallway today, I think William's warning really made her shaken up. I was just going up to my homeroom, when someone suddenly jumped in front of me. My eyes widened and for Lord's sake it was William.

"God William, you scared me. Don't do that again" I said jokingly scolding him.

"Ahh, I never knew you'd get scared, sorry" said William scratching the back of his neck awkwardly

"Come on, it's fine, let's go to homeroom. You have it with me right?" I said, curiously

"Kendall, we have all of our classes together. Don't tell me you forgot"
said William, whining

"Oh yeah" I said while laughing

We went togther to homeroom and all the lessons passed pretty well. Oh well, let me say, William is surely one talkative guy. Don't tell him that I said that or else he will kill me cause he thinks he is a quiet guy. Lol, jk

It was time to go home. I was just going outside with William.

"Can I walk you to your home?" said William smiling .

"Sure, plus I'm lacking company, it would be great" I said giggling

Through the way, William told me so many jokes. The whole day, jasmine and her friends didn't disturb me, surely I got glares but with William on my side, they made sure to stay away.

I finally have a friend now and I can't be more grateful. For once life seems to be going great.

"And there, we are here" said William taking mental note of his
surroundings

"Thanks a lot, I had an amazing time today" I said warmly

"No problem, I also enjoyed" said William, with his hands in his pockets
"You know, I'll make you some tea, come inside. I don't want you to leaving without having anything, after all you're the only friend I have and you even walked me home" I said calmly

"Sure, if it's all fine with you?" said William grinning

I nodded and took him inside.

"Wow Kendall, your house is so huge. Never told me you were rich" said William admiring the house

"It's no big deal and I didn't tell you because I thought you may think I'm bragging" I said laughing

"Nah, I ain't a person to think like that" said William

"Well that's great, and tea is ready. Let's head up to the living room" I said grabbing the tea cups

"I literally get tired of that jasmine's attitude. Oh my, she needs to mind her own business" said William as he made himself comfortable on the couch

"Did something happen?" I said in a concerned manner

"Yesterday, when you went home and I was in the library, she came up to me, and was like oh you know kendall is no good so you better join me. She's just trapping you like she did to me. And there she kept blabbering. I just ignored her. Honestly, I would die if this keeps happening" said William

"Well jasmine is not like that. She just is like that" I said looking at the tea which was now, sitting cold in the cup

"Do you guys have history? Like a bad one" asked William, preparing himself for the drama

He seemed excited, like he was gonna be told an amazing story

"Yeah, I-" I said but was cut off by the door of the living room opening

And Faik was there, a bouquet in his hands and some chocolates. When he saw me and William, he just stood speechless.

"Faik?" I said, staring at him
