We Met By Fate - Rauf And Faik

Chapter 28

Faik POV:

I am so happy to see Kendall by my side. Fate has embraced our love again. Right now, me, Rauf and Kendall, we all are going to the hotel. I'm thinking of proposing Kendall after the tour ends. Can't wait to make her mine.

Kendall had her head on my shoulder as she took a nap while Rauf was humming to some songs in the backseat. Soon we arrived at the hotel. I picked Kendall up in a bridestyle manner, not wanting to disrupt her sleep. Rauf went to his room while I went up to mine. I laid down Kendall on the bed and took off her sneakers, after which I put the covers around her. She looked absolutely cute while sleeping. I chuckled to myself and changed into my pyjamas. I decided to sleep on the couch since Kendall might be uncomfortable if she finds out that I slept in the same bed as her. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out like a light.

~Next morning~

When I got up, Kendall wasn't there. Where could she have gone? I should go to Rauf and check, maybe he knows? Without changing into my normal clothes, I went up to Rauf's and got in. There was Kendall and Rauf having breakfast together without me.

Kendall looked up from her breakfast and giggled to herself.

"What?? Why are you giggling over there while I have been worried about where you went? And not to mention, you both are having breakfast with me!" I scoffed

"Rauf called me for breakfast and I didn't wanted to disturb you so yeah. Plus, mister you are still in your pyjamas" said Kendall while laughing

"Yeah, I invited her. You can have breakfast now but after changing" said Rauf, teasing me

"You both are mean" I said while pouting

"Awww, you look so cute. Now go and get ready Mr. Mirzaev" said Kendall eating her toast

"Okay, I'm going" I said, dragging myself to my room, not before hearing both Kendall and Rauf chuckling to themselves

After getting ready, I got a call from the management.

"Hello, Mr.Mirzaev, we would like to have a meeting with you at 12 p.m." said our manager
"Sure, I'll bring Rauf along with me" I said
"No, we want to have a meeting with you alone. Come by the hotel cafe, the meeting is there" said the manager

"Alright" I said and the line dropped

I quickly texted Rauf that I was going to the meeting.

"Hey Rauf, I have a meeting with the management today. I may not come till an hour so responsibility of Kendall is all on you. See ya later"

At the last minute, I was informed, something must be wrong. Skipping such thoughts away, I went down to the hotel cafe and spotted the management team, sitting at the far end. I jogged up to the table and sat down on the leather chair.

"Mr. Mirzaev, how's the tour going?" said the same manager who had called me up

"It's going great. Is there anything you want to inform me about?" I said taking a sip of the coffee that had been placed there for me, earlier on

"Yes, this brings us to the reason as to why this meeting was arranged. Apparently, your fans have found out that you supposedly betrayed Ella and brought yourself a new girl. Even Ella spoke against this matter, sharing her displeasure and heartbreak. Fans even managed to get the information on this new girl. Her name's Kendall right?" said the manager

All the other team members were looking at me.

"First of all, I didn't betray Ella and whatever she says is crap. Secondly, yes, I have a new girlfriend now. Her name is Kendall, and we are living quite happily together" I said in full confidence

"Mr Mirzaev, the fans think that you cheated on Ella with this Kendall. Though, they do know Ella's and your history, they don't accept the fact that this time, Ella is faking. Kendall is there as a proof. Due to such reasons, we want you to distance from Kendall, and pretend that you are back with Ella. You'll apologize to Ella and make things right" said the manager in a stern tone

"Please don't mention Kendall as *this Kendall* and if there are fans who want my happiness, then they'll understand me and support my relationship with Kendall. If they don't, it simply means, they aren't my real fans. Ella doesn't deserve anything, she has hurt me already. I want to live peacefully with Kendall. Now if you'll excuse me" I said getting up, ready to leave

The team members also got up and the manager faced me.

"Mr Mirzaev, if you don't obey the management, it means that your contract ends right here. Do you really want this? Think about Rauf. Don't be selfish and obey what we command. Your future is at risk" said the manager

My wrists were clenched by my side. How could they? Without saying anything, I left. I am finally happy with a girl I love but people don't want us together. If I pretend to be with Ella and leave Kendall, both me and Kendall would be crushed. But then, if I disobey the orders, I would destroy mine and Rauf's career. What should I do?   

I headed to the beach to ease myself. It was only a short minute walk from the hotel to the beach. The kids were playing around with their families, friends were having lunch together and the waves were dancing on the shore.

I sat down on the sand, and stared at the calm ocean before my eyes. Everything is a mess right now, what will I do? Kendall already has gotten hurt so many times and she always bottles up her feelings. I know that she'll accept me, pretending to be with Ella but I know she won't ever tell me how much it hurts her. Then Rauf, we both have had singing as our passion ever since we were young. Leaving it apart, seems like abandoning my heart in the shadows. All this stress was getting to me.

I tucked at my hair in anger and tried to stop my failing heart. Suddenly, my phone buzzed. I held it up and saw that I had various messages from both Rauf and Kendall. I didn't have the energy to face both of them right now. I have ran out of words. Destiny is testing me to choose between my brother and my girlfriend today. Why me?

I literally am not lying when I say that I lost my interest on updating this book but now, just writing a chapter again, makes me realise how many people are waiting for me.
