"Do you want to go out with me Lex?" Bria asked him in a low voice almost innocent.
He stood there shocked, his eyes wide and his mouth agape. He couldn't believe his ears, he knew she was in love with him but he had never expected her to actually ask him.
She smiled at his shocked expression. Truth to be told she didn't just love him just like that, she loved his personality, his laugh, his dimpled smile, the way his hazel eyes lights up when they're talking about something interesting or when they're talking about themselves, the way he ignored everyone when they teased him for stupid reasons, the way he brushed his black hair from his eyes, his warmth, how soft he was, the woody and fresh smell that she found intoxicating and the way how he narrowed his eyes when he was upset with something or someone or the way his eye twitched when he was annoyed at someone.
His mind went blank as they both stared at each other.
Several minutes has passed when he finally came to his senses and cleared his throat.
He already liked her if not more so he nodded.
"Yes" He said and he watched as her eyes lit up brightly. A smile came to his lips seeing her happy, a sense of happiness also flooded within his chest.
Bria squealed happily and tackled him in a hug. He quickly hugged her back feeling her small hourglass figure against his own. He held her and kissed her head.
Right then and there she let out a relaxed sigh.
The final bell rang and loud chattering came into earshot and he pulled away from her as students started gathering in the hallway.
"Wanna go out later?" He asked her in a shy tone whispering. He didn't want anyone else to hear, from what he's seen at the high school is that people absolutely love gossiping and spreading rumors and he hated it.
"Sì! Assolutamente!" She nodded excitedly. Luckily, last week she bought a beautiful red summer dress and a matching pair of flats to go with it.
"Verrò a prendervi alle 6" He grinned at her adorableness and walked out.
