LEXIBria's heart ached. She felt hurt, guilty and upset. Hurt that he refused to listen to her, guilty that it was her fault, her fault that she hurt him and upset at what she did. She was angry at herself.
If she was being logical there wasn't really anything to explain, other than Romeo, the guy who kissed her was in love with her and surprised her with a kiss Wilco her she failed to react to. She had met just with him because he had moved from Italy and he needed someone to show him around and she offered because he was her friend.
Another reason why she was upset with herself is because she didn't push him away. She could but she couldn't. She was confused for a while until her mind went to Lexi. Him.
After Romeo had kissed her, she slapped him. Not the weak childish slap in cartoons or movies. A hard slap that made his head turn to the side and one that brought blood.
'How dare he?'
She left immediately after. After a while of trying to talk to him and being avoided like she had the plague, she phoned his mother and explained to her what had happened. She knew if he found out that he'd be more angry but she had to do it.
She told his mother everything.
"Oh god that's why he's been so distant and down" His mother sighed finally seeing the insight of things.
"Yeah...I keep trying to tell him what happened but he keeps avoiding me. I know that I had hurt him and I never meant for that to happen. I just didn't know what to do. I'm so sorry" Her voice broke as she spoke.
"Oh honey...okay. Here's the thing, I'll help you" His mother said.
"Oh my God thank you so much" Bria wiped her eyes feeling somewhat hopeful.
"I'm at GardenSong's Airport right now and our flight won't be ready in the next hour or more so you can come here and explain to him. And I assure you, I'll make him listen" His mother said in all seriousness.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
"You're welcome my dear" She hung up.
Bria shot up from her soaked bedsheets and ran out with only one thing one her mind.
Lexi
