Bria paid for her groceries and carried them out. Stefano, her bodyguard wanted to carry them but she kept declining and saying she had it. Sighing at her stubbornness, they both reached her car and he rushed to open it before she could put the bags down.
Glaring at him, she huffed and got in.
"I told you that I can do it Stefan!" She exclaimed narrowing her eyes at him as he entered the passenger's seat. He didn't like that she had to drive, especially if her father, Francisco De Luca found out. He'd have his head brought to his mother's house on the gold platter Queen Elizabeth used.
He was an absolute devil when he was pissed, and the last thing Stefano wanted to do was make him pissed.
"Yeah whatever I love my life so no next time I'm driving you" He said and she grumbled.
"Anyway Stefan, how's Melody? How's the little pumpkin?" She asked as a smile came to her face, in the corner of her eye she saw a bright smile came on his lips and his eyes shone.
"They're wonderful! You'd never guessed what happened last night!"
"No what?" She asked eagerly.
"Marco has his first word! It's was ''mommy' and I had to give that devil (Melody, his wife) 200 dollars. We bet on him, if he said 'daddy' first I'd get 200" Stefano grumbled remembering how she had took his money from him and his his own son watched with a happy look.
"Damn it!" He glared our the window at a teenager boy who was walking with his friends and saw the glare. His face turned pale and he quickly looked away as if he had seen something he wasn't supposed to.
Bria chuckled and nodded. Two years ago she and Stefano went to a basketball match and they both met Melody. He immediately fell in love at first sight, then he asked her out immediately but she rejected him, after a few more times and months after trying, she accepted. And everything began from there.
Bria really admired they're relationship.
A loud ringtone from her phone frightened her and she answered.
"Hello?"
"Hey Bria! How are you darling? I hope your good, guess who's back to America!" His mother yelled into the phone excitedly.
Bria mouth went dry and her eyes bulged. She already knew.
"Lexi! Lexi's back honey!" She screamed into the phone, almost making her ears bleed.
Shocked Bria ended the call without realizing.
"Bria! Watch out!" Stefano yelled as she slammed her foot on the breaks almost slamming into a pizza delivery guy.
"What's wrong with you!" He yelled at her eyed and she looks at him.
