Two months went quickly. He and Bria had supposedly gotten closer since then, she just made his life a bit bearable. . . and he liked her. Well that's what he thinks, every time when they're together his heart speeds up and he feels more like himself than ever before.
In the dark part of his mind, he felt insecure. Insecure about himself, his size and how he looked. He didn't have washboard abs, he didn't have clear skin, he didn't have muscles, he didn't have a sharp jawline. . . well he didn't even have a jawline for that matter, he wasn't tall and he almost weighed over 270 pounds.
After school Bria invited him out to have ice cream with her. He absolutely loved ice cream so he couldn't decline. Bria's bodyguard, Stefano, drive them to a nearby ice cream shop about 40 minutes away from his house- with the help of google maps of course.
The both ordered their ice cream, Bria took cherry chocolate chip ice cream with sprinkles and gummy bears on top while he took a mint chocolate chip ice cream with tiny snicker bits with M&M on top. The bodyguard paid for them.
Then they went outside to sit down. He looked around, all different types of roses and other types of flowers were planted around that made it look like a scene from a cartoon. Stefano stood behind a few feet behind them looking around the area with a straight face and a tense look as if something was ready to jump out from the bushes and attack them.
He then looked at Bria to find her already looking at him. They soon both stared at each other.
As he stared at her, he realized that her eyes flicked to his lips in a millisecond then back to his face again. It was quick but he caught it and he did the same.
