Jin let me go back to school after two days of rest at the apartment and with his intense watch on me and my injured head. So I only had two days of school left before winter break, and today was the last day.
Ever since that night of the bathtub incident, the boys have been more like themselves. But their other personalities come out every now and then, but it doesn't bother me as much. Everyone was acting normal except Yoongi, he's been more suspicious and awkward.
He would roam around the apartment, holding a book, and he would peek his eyes out from whatever book that he was holding every time I would look away from him. What made this even weirder is that sometimes the book he was holding was a coloring book or even a children's picture book.
I glanced up from the game I was playing on my phone. I was just laying down on the couch, enjoying the rare peacefulness of the silent apartment. Everyone chose to go shopping, and I decided to stay home because Yoongi would be alone.
It didn't take Yoongi too long to realize that I was still here and came creeping down the stairs with another upside-down coloring book. Yoongi took over the chair that was the farthest away from me.
He said nothing for a while, just kept glancing up from the flipped book, until I eventually caught his eyes. We both kept looking at each other, keeping eye contact, and never blinking. This was a starring contest of dominance. Whoever loss would have to start the conversation.
Thankfully, he backed out of it and took the loss.
"So... what do you want for Christmas?" He hid his face in the book.
"I don't really know, I only just learned about Christmas from Jin. So for my first Christmas, I will cherish anything that someone gifts me."
Jin had told me all about Christmas and what the boys typically did for the holiday. The boys would normally get gifts for everyone and Santa Claus would appear on Christmas night and leave everyone all kinds of presents under the tree. When he told me this, I couldn't believe that my master would lock out Santa and not give him cookies. We didn't even put up a tree.
"Have you gone Christmas shopping for the other boys yet?"
I didn't want to tell him why I haven't but there was no way I could dodge his question.
"I can't... I don't have any money."
Once I told him, his ears popped out from the coloring book.
"I can take you to the mall and you can use my card."
I didn't know what to say at first. He would let me use his money that he worked hard for, so I could buy the boys' gifts.
"I don't want to use your money, I already feel guilty that you said that I could." It was my turn to hide my face behind my phone.
He set the book down on the glass coffee table and stood up from the armchair.
"(Y/N), all the money that I have is yours, I would work for the rest of my life to give you everything that you wanted and needed, so a little money from my wallet is fine."
He calmly walked over to the front door and grabbed my shoes, bought them over to me, and sat down on the floor. He gently grabbed my ankle and put my shoes on my sock covered feet.
"Wh-at are you doing!?" I shuddered out.
I attempted to pull back from his hand, but he didn't let go and proceeded to put my shoes on me.
"We are going to the mall, so I'm putting your shoes on you."
He acted like this was an ordinary thing on a Wednesday. This type of thing is something that a hybrid would do for their master. I was so used to doing it for my heartless master, it just felt strange being on the other end of it.
